Frame

Made in USA aluminum Cannondale frameset with the classic Cannondale smoothed corners, and a shimmery cranberry red/maroon paint job. The fork has through mounts, somewhat rare for bikes of this era, which allows for fork-mounted racks such as the Salsa Down Under rack. This type or rack allows for carrying front panniers with a low center of gravity, making it a solid choice for touring, bikepacking and commuting.

Drivetrain

3x7 gearing with small chainrings for easy climbing. 
Shimano Acera X derailleurs, grip shifters, and Shimano Altus crankset.

Headset, stem, handlebars, brakes

Silver headset, black quill stem, black riser bars with Specialized bar end attachments for additional hand positions, Silver Shimano Altus rim brakes and mtb levers. 

Wheels/tires

700c wheelset with aluminium Sunrims made in USA and silver hubs.
700c x 38mm IRC Grip Glide hybrid tires. These tires are a little old/dry but still have life left in them for a year or so of riding! Good for bumpy city streets, and the frame has clearance for slightly bigger tires and/or fenders too. 

Saddle, Seatpost

Original black seatpost and a black gel fabric saddle.

Accessories/upgrades

This bike was recently tuned up, and has the original rear rack and bar ends, but otherwise has not had alterations.

Pedals

We take pedals off for storage but will include basic flat pedals depending on what we have available at the time of sale.
