Description
The 1P Cirriform Tarp - a lightweight tarp shelter for hikers on the move
The Cirriform is for hikers who want to spend most of their day, well, hiking. Whether you're a seasoned ultralight tarp camper or making the jump from a freestanding tent, it delivers solid weather protection and an intuitive setup. With multiple inner options to adapt to your needs and the season, the Cirriform pitches fast, packs small, and holds its shape when the weather gets rough. It's the shelter we reach for on high-mileage days when the weather is unpredictable, and setup needs to be automatic and adaptable.
Performance
The shaped geometry and Silpoly fabric work together to keep the pitch taut through the night. Silpoly resists sagging when wet, so you're not re-tensioning at 3am. The curvature handles wind and sheds rain without requiring a perfectly flat campsite. When bugs or condensation are a factor, pair it with one of our inners to run it as a full double-wall setup.
Dual Entry
The Cirriform has two entry points, and each has a purpose. The side entry is the everyday option - easy to get in and out, and on clear nights, we love rolling it back for a view of the stars. Use the front entry to keep the sleeping area covered when weather moves in. Switching between them is as simple as moving a clip.
Pair it with an inner
The Cirriform pairs with a bivy, net-tent, or floor to create a modular double-wall shelter you can adapt to the season and conditions. We make three inners designed for it: the Y-zip Bug Bivy, the 1P Bug Shelter, and the Tub Floor. Most other brands' inners will work too. The Cirriform DW bundles the tarp with the Bug Bivy or Bug Shelter at a discount.
Trekking pole supported
Pitches with your trekking poles or tent poles. The Cirriform accommodates front poles from about 37" to 44" (94-115 cm). Poles of 26"-33" (66-84 cm) are best for the foot end, though longer poles can be adapted.
Optional pole sets are available for those who prefer to travel without trekking poles.
Notes/FAQ:
- Do I need a groundsheet or inner? That's up to you, but if you're not using an inner, you'll probably want to use a groundsheet or floor.
- Do I need to seal the seams? Tarp seams should be sealed using a sealer for silicone coated fabrics (we recommend Seam Grip +SIL by Gear Aid). Optional seam sealing service available.

Recycled, 20D Silpoly
The Recycled 20D Silpoly fabric uses a silicone-based coating on both sides. Silpoly absorbs less water than silnylon, reducing surprise weight, while lower sag ensures the tarp stays taut through the night.

Hang loops for suspending inners are placed under each apex and near the corners. When pitched low, the loops help keep floating tub floors elevated - just run the corner lines through the loops before clipping to the tarp.

Pitching
How to pitch the Cirrifrom
Start by staking out the corners of the tarp to establish your base. Raise the poles at the peaks and stake them to form the shelter's shape. Adjust and tension the lines evenly for a tight, balanced pitch.

This is the book I've been waiting for!!!
Format: Hardcover
This book has a ton of great information for fans of the first 6 Final Fantasy games. It includes artwork, sketches, maps, computer renderings, and more! Check out the video flip through of the book that I added. If you are a fan, you won't be disappointed!
Note: many characters, monsters, and locations are shown with Japanese language (Katakana or Hiragana most often - sometimes Kanji) with a Romaji translation (such as Kokaturisu for Cockatrice) and a final English translation. Note that much of this book is based off multiple versions of the games - often the PSP / PS1 versions for 1, 2, 4, 5 and DS for 3. Just a note because translations are different for each version. Also some of the sprites shown in character models are from later releases, not original. But it is certainly forgivable since they often show the sprites for multiple versions.
I am just pawing through it non-stop. I feel like a kid when I got the first Final Fantasy and literally wore out the map/monster chart that was included!

Great gift for Final Fantasy Enthusiasts

My brother in law has played many of the original Final Fantasy games and has always enjoyed the art style. My husband purchased this book for him as a birthday gift and my brother in law has thoroughly enjoyed flipping through this book. The hardback cover is very sturdy and the entire book is beautiful with interesting character facts throughout.

Even better than expected
Format: Hardcover
This is a really good quality book both in form and content. Its pretty big both in size and thickness, its actually taller than i thought and is very well made with beautiful print. If you are a fan of Final Fantasy or a fan of videogame artwork its a great item to add to your collection. I'd love to get the other two volumes as well.

An interesting read for fans of the classic series.
Format: Hardcover
The Ultimania is a nice collection of background info and original artwork for the series, and this book details the first six entries that appeared on Nintendo systems between 1987 and 1994. For fans of the 8-bit era, you may be a bit disappointed to find their sections a bit light on content, but they do feature gorgeous artwork from Yoshitaka Amano, Akihiko Yoshida, and other artists who worked on the remakes for the Wonderswan and PSP versions. There is also some neat background info like notes and outlines from the titles early development.
The real meat of the book comes from the 16-bit era entries which detail some interesting info not usually seen, such as artwork of the characters by the staff, dungeon design details, and a few minor cut content. If you're a serious fan of the franchise and can't read Japanese making the 20th and 25th anniversary Japanese Ultimania books nothing more than an art book for you, then this is a great buy for super fans.

Great book, fast but shoddy shipping

The book is exactly what I knew it would be: a translated version of the Ultimania books released for the first six Final Fantasy games. These books are heavy on artwork but also contain many factoids about the games. Don't expect the amount of info that was in the Zelda Encyclopedia or Hyrule Historia books from Dark Horse, but significantly more than what was in the Zelda Art and Artifacts book. Lots of art but also a decent amount of info on the first 6 titles in the Final Fantasy series.
More distressing was the shipping method of the book. The book was shipped in a cardboard box, non-form fitting so it shook around a lot. Book was shipped by Amazon Warehouse and condition was listed as Very Good. It may have been Very Good when it left the warehouse, but it took a beating on its way here, as shown by the photos on this review. The book is still quite readable, and the damage is not so severe as the book is falling apart, but it definitely took a few hard hits on its way that would have been not nearly as damaging if it had either been shipped in bubble wrap or at least a form fitting box.
