~ Refinishing Process ~
This vintage dresser has been sanded down to a smooth finish, then accented with honeycomb & tiny bees burnt into the woodgrain. The honeycomb & tiny bees have been accentuated with iridescent golden hues. These iridescent accents give the honeycomb & bees a glowing effect when the sunlight hits them.
All wood burnt accents on this piece were done freehand in order to allow for the design to better compliment the dresser’s natural structure.
The dresser drawers are all lined with black velvet & the drawer pulls are solid cast iron with ornate detailing.
Finally, this chest of drawers has been sealed with a clear coat finish, from top to bottom, for added durability.
