Incredibly stunning, antique 1930's bias cut two tone evening gown. Made of 100% silk charmeuse fabric. This elegant beauty represents a milestone of fashion history with it's backless design, which became a signature style of formal dresses in the 1930's. I've chosen to wear this dress with the backside facing forward in half of these photos, then wore it as it was intended to be worn when first designed. This beauty is fit with narrow shoulder straps exposing the V shape backside. There are bustle embellishments at the backside waistline, belted with goddess style rolled fabric and topped with a metal buckle clasp and rhinestones. Five metal snap in buttons sit right below the waist line, allowing you to easily slip this dress on and off. The bias cut hugs every curve of your body and creates an incredibly flattering feminine silhouette. The skirt tapers in at the knee and flares out with a multi-godet hemline. This sleek and sexy floor length backless bias cut style became an instant old Hollywood classic and a design staple of the 1930's.
