Original Item: Only One Available. No. 1 Dress, or "dress blues", is a ceremonial uniform, worn on only the most formal of occasions and by senior staff officers, aides to the Royal Family, and to the personal staff of senior officers in command. It is not generally issued to all units, with the khaki No. 2 Dress functioning as the main parade uniform.

No. 1 dress originated in the "undress" uniforms ('blue Patrols') worn for semi-formal or ordinary duty occasions in the late 19th century. It was first issued in its current form for the 1937 Coronation, intended as a cheaper alternative to the full dress uniforms that had been generally withdrawn after 1914. It became known as No. 1 Dress in 1947. Army units participating in the 1953 Coronation wore the new uniform as a temporary issue.

For most units, No. 1 dress consists of a peaked cap, caubeen or beret; depending on the regiment, dark blue tunic, trousers, overalls (tight-fitting trousers historically worn by mounted troops), or skirts (worn with tights). Units are distinguished by badges and the colors of the cap, tunic piping, vertical stripes ("welts") on the trousers, and the colour of the collar for certain cavalry regiments. The tunic and trousers of the Royal Gurkha Rifles are rifle green. The Rifles wear a rifle green tunic with black trousers. The Royal Dragoon Guards and the King's Royal Hussars wear dark green and crimson overalls respectively. Cavalry regiments wear shoulder chains in place of shoulder straps. The Royal Regiment of Scotland wears a short jacket called a "doublet", in Archer Green. Prior to amalgamation, Highland regiments wore the doublet with the kilt and sporran while Lowland regiments wore trews, both in the individual regiment's tartan.

In the full ceremonial order of No. 1 Dress, officers wear a waist sash of crimson silk and twisted cord epaulets; while general officers wear a waist sash of gold and crimson stripes. Light cavalry regiments wear a lace cross belt in place of the sash, while Rifle regiments wear a polished black leather crossbelt, as do the Special Air Service and Royal Army Chaplains Department (who have a unique pattern of tunic that features an open step collar instead of a mandarin collar). Other ranks wear a white, buff or black leather belt with a regimental pattern locket, with a bayonet frog if carrying arms.

This lovely WWII era dress blue coat is in wonderful condition and features the lovely chainmail epaulets! Mail was frequently used for the epaulets of military uniforms and it is still used today by the British Territorial Army, and the Royal Canadian Armored Corps of the Canadian Army.

The condition is excellent and all buttons are present and still completely attached to the uniform. There are no unit marks or soldiers’ names written anywhere on the uniform.

Comes more than ready for further research and display.

So so small! Not worth $
The images in Amazon are nothing like what the product is. The pretzels and rings are minuscule. My two pit/lab mixes will eat one in about 30 seconds. So disappointment. Not worth the $ for what you’re getting. I tried to return items which are individually wrapped but they do not allow returns on these products. I have not opened any of them and still not able to return. If you have a dog under 15lbs these may work! If you have a large breed don’t bother. I’m so disappointed. Pictures above is the product next to a small milk bone biscuit (for reference).

A Premium Magnesium Powder From A Brand I Actually Trust
Thorne has a strong reputation in the supplement world, and this Magnesium Citrate powder is a good example of why. Magnesium is one of those basic minerals that does more than people realize. It supports normal muscle and nerve function, helps with energy production, contributes to bone health, and plays a role in cardiovascular function. The NIH notes that magnesium is involved in hundreds of enzyme systems in the body, including processes tied to muscle and nerve function, blood glucose control, blood pressure regulation, and bone development. (Office of Dietary Supplements) Magnesium citrate in particular is a form many people use because it is generally well absorbed and can also help with occasional constipation. That is both a benefit and something to respect. If you take too much, it can move from “helpful” to “where is the nearest bathroom” fairly quickly. I would start modestly and see how your body responds. The citrus berry flavor is pleasant enough for a mineral powder. It is not candy, and it does not need to be. It mixes reasonably well and is easy to work into a nightly routine or use when you feel like your muscles are tight, your diet has been less than ideal, or you simply want magnesium without swallowing another capsule. The biggest selling point for me is the brand. Thorne is not some mystery-label supplement company with a pretty bottle and a warehouse address nobody wants to talk about. Thorne says its facility is NSF certified, it manufactures more than 40 NSF Certified for Sport products, and it is used by professional and national sports organizations. (Thorne) Their Magnesium Citrate product page also states that the product is third-party tested and certified to verify what is in the package. (Thorne) That matters with supplements. You are not just buying magnesium. You are buying confidence that the dosage, purity, and manufacturing standards are being taken seriously. Thorne usually costs more than bargain brands, but with supplements, cheap is not always the victory it looks like on the front end. Overall, this is a high-quality magnesium option from a brand with real credibility. I like it for muscle support, general wellness, bone and heart-health support, and occasional regularity. Just treat it like a supplement, not a snack, especially if you are sensitive to magnesium or already taking other products that contain it.

Taste is good, reliable manufacturer
Thorne is a reputable brand that has come out with a magnesium citrate and has been certified by a third-party. I sometimes wonder about supplements online, but having a third-party certify the product gives me more peace of mind. It comes in a double protected container for further peace of mind. This magnesium citrate comes in a powder form and mixes fairly easily with cold water. There is bicarbonate in the product, so it has a slight bubbly texture. This really tastes like citrus berry and is sweetened with monk fruit extract. I like that it has no artificial sweeteners in it. Magnesium has been known to support muscle heart bone and the urinary tract. It can also help with constipation. My husband is a nurse and he says that they regularly administer this in the hospital when a patient has trouble with constipation. The recommended dosage is one scoop to 6 to 8 ounces of water. There are about 60 doses in the container. If taken once a day, this will last for two months. This is a good alternative to other magnesium supplements. It is a form that is usually well absorbed by the body. Given the reputation of the manufacturer, the ease of use, the benefits, and the ease of absorption, I can recommend this product if you are looking to increase magnesium in your diet.

Certified quality magnesium citrate
If you like powdered supplements and planning to take magnesium citrate, then this one if for you. I take it towards the end of the day, and in addition to the many benefits of magnesium, it actually helps me relax and sleep better, although those are not the main benefits of citrate. I guess we all react differently to supplements. My favorite setup is when I take it in the evening and sip on it during a sauna session. In all cases, I target end of day. The taste is very good and it mixes easily with water. Also, Thorne is a brand I trust and it's certified by various bodies. It's worth the premium but it's better to catch a deal on amazon or add it to subscribe and save for a discount if you're planning to use it long term.

Best magnesium from the best supplement brand.
Thorne can do no wrong in my book. They just can’t. I take magnesium every night. Usually magnesium glycinate. However, I read that that can start to cause night sweats over overtime. So moving decent was kind of a trial to see if that stopped the issue. It did immediately. The bonus of the powder though is that I can have it in a little bit of cherry juice or a mocktail before I go to bed. The flavor is great, and I haven’t noticed any grittiness whatsoever. That’s sad, I drink a lot of protein drinks so it’s entirely possible. I’m used to grittiness. Since starting to take this, I’ve been sleeping just as well as I have with the magnesium glycinate. Perhaps even a little bit better because this is higher quality and I’m not getting the night sweats.
