So pretty and frilly is this vintage light blue taffeta party or prom dress, with full skirt and decorative tiered ribbon back, circa late 50s.

The elegant cocktail style Rockabilly dress consists of a light cornflower blue changeable taffeta fabric with an iridescent sheen.  It has short sleeves, scooped neckline, fitted bodice with decorative ribbon trim simulating a shelf style bust, full skirt with soft pleats and built in crinoline, metal zippered back, and tiered shingled ribbon back with rosette at the back waist.

*Please note the following flaws – There is a fleabite on the left sleeve as shown, and there are three small faint spots on the right side of the skirt (see pics), mostly hidden in the folds. 

Otherwise, the dress itself is in good condition and has two labels.  One is a card stock label, and the other is a blue and white ILGWU label of the period.
