A pleasant e-bike ride to discover the Sicilian countryside, among the historic vineyards of Tenuta Regaleali and the Gurfa caves.
The tour starts from the Regaleali Estate, in the heart of Sicily; first stop Valledolmo: small village nestled on the slopes of Pizzo Sampieri, at the foot of the South-Western Madonie, in the welcoming valley that extends from Mount Campanaro to the Cammarata mountain. The town, with its almost 800 meters above sea level, dominates the surrounding countryside, offering a vast and enchanting panorama, among the immense fields of wheat, vineyards and olive groves.
After crossing the historic center of Valledolmo, we continue along country roads for another 10 km, towards the Gurfa Caves, located in the municipality of Alia, a small town nestled in the heart of the Palermo countryside, among pastures and hills that in spring are a feast of greenery and in summer an enormous golden expanse. The Gurfa Caves are a complex of rock architecture, whose origin is still covered in mystery, which extend inside a long rocky spur; a unique place whose beauty must be experienced!
After the visit to the Gurfa site, we will return to Tenuta Regaleali immersed in the peace of the countryside. Following, a guided tasting of 5 wines that represent the territory and soil variety of Regaleali according to Tasca d’Almerita
To complete the journey, a tasting of 5 extra virgin olive oils, one for each estate, thought and produced with the same passion we give to wine.
