Likes ground that is not highly fertile. Prepare bed by removing all weeds, leave for 2 weeks and clear any further weeds.

• Soil should be of a medium tilth and trod down or rolled to provide a firm surface.
• Sow when the soil is warm and moist in spring or early autumn.
• Scatter sow sparingly at 2gm (1 packet of seed) per square metre. Do not over-sow. Tread or roller seeds in. Once sown manage weeds accordingly.
• Annuals will flower from April onwards, the perennials the following year or even longer
