The Bismarck Palm has a full crown of large, circular, silvery blue, fan-shaped leaves and a tall, columnar trunk. In seedlings and young plants, the leaves are tinged with an unreal purple color. Bismarckia develops fairly quickly into a large and stunning tree that is excellently suited for the subtropical or tropical garden, for parks, and for breathtaking avenues. It is tolerant of drought and a few degrees of frost and wants a place in full sun, such as it enjoys in the highland savannas of its native home of Madagascar. There is only one species within this genus. It is a stately single trunk palm that has a good sized trunk and, over many decades, can get tall. First introduced into the commercial nursery market about twenty years ago, it is being used both commercially and in the home garden in increasing frequency. It is commonly called the Bismarck Palm. Either as a single specimen or in groups, this is a strikingly beautiful species. It is most commonly known for its silver blue color. Surprisingly Accessible for All Ages

Slightly disappointed
I’m already familiar with most of the languages in this book, but I figured it would be fun to do some of the projects they had inside. I was disappointed to find out when I received it, that the first two images on the product listing are not from this book. I was looking forward to building a password generator which it does not have in here. Also, the ‘build a game’ page for Scratch is different too. You still build a game but not what you expect from what is shown on Amazon.
Still worth picking up if you want to learn to code or teach your kids.

Must Have For Beginner Coders
I am just starting out learning the concepts of coding, because I would like to start making my own video games as a hobby. I have purchased other "how-to" guides for beginners, which ended up being very confusing and required a more intermediate level of knowledge with coding. I am very happy with this book, as it provides straightforward and easy to understand lessons in four different coding languages, along with access to a free-to-use coding program so you can practice each lesson step-by-step in real time. The book is very colorful and laid out well with lots of pictures to illustrate each step in the process. I highly recommend this book for people like me, who are just starting out with coding and want to grasp the fundamentals before jumping into the deep end.

High quality!
I am not a seasoned programmer, so I cannot compare this to other resources available. Regarding the book itself, though, it is very high quality. The book itself is a hard cover with very high production values. Everything is illustrated and easy to understand. Like I said, I cannot vouch for the nitty-gritty that an expert might be able to, but from my perspective, this is a great place to start as a beginner.
