FAQ
Can I use this car seat without the base?
Yes. The Aton G Swivel includes alternate belt guides for base-free installation using a locking vehicle lap/shoulder belt. Check the owner’s manual for the correct setup.
Can my child sit in the car seat in a forward-facing position?
No. This CYBEX infant car seat is designed for rear-facing use only.
Is this seat approved for air travel?
Yes, it is approved for airplane use per FAA requirements. Contact your airline before departure to confirm acceptance.
When should I remove the infant insert?
CYBEX recommends using the infant insert until about 11 lbs or approximately 3 months old, then adjusting support as needed for fit.
Can I leave the seat swiveled after taking my baby out?
The seat may remain swiveled only while the car is parked. Return it to the drive position before traveling again.
How should I care for the fabric?
Machine wash separately in cold water on a delicate cycle. Do not bleach or iron; drip dry.
Care Instructions & Important Notes
Use only in the rear-facing position and follow the user guide for installation, use, and care. Replace the seat after any crash of any kind, even if it was unoccupied. Keep thick or puffy clothing out from under the harness, and make sure the child’s head remains at least 1 inch below the top of the carrier.
