  •   Echeveria 'Lotus' is a stunning rosette succulent that belongs to the Crassulaceae family, prized for its lotus-like formation and compact beauty. This drought tolerant succulent originates from the mountainous regions of Mexico, where it naturally grows in rocky, well-draining conditions.

This compact succulent forms perfect rosettes with thick, fleshy leaves that display gorgeous pink and green coloration, especially when grown in bright light. Echeveria 'Lotus' showcases pale green to blue-green leaves with delicate pink edges that intensify with sun exposure, creating a mesmerizing lotus flower appearance. The rosette succulent typically reaches 4-6 inches across, making it an ideal desk plant for small spaces.

Echeveria 'Lotus' produces tall flower spikes with bell-shaped blooms in shades of coral, pink, or orange during spring and summer months. The indoor plant shows clear signs when thirsty through slight leaf wilting, making it incredibly beginner friendly for new succulent enthusiasts. This low maintenance beauty tolerates dry heated air exceptionally well, thriving in typical home environments.

This echeveria succulent excels as both an indoor plant and outdoor specimen, easily moving outside for summer growth and staying outdoors through autumn. Echeveria 'Lotus' grows beautifully under office LEDs and survives 10-day trips alone, making it perfect for busy plant lovers. The plant is pet friendly and propagates readily from leaf cuttings or offsets, adding to its appeal among collectors seeking rare rosette succulents.

  •   Echeveria 'Lotus' thrives in bright indirect light to direct sun, adapting well to various lighting conditions indoors.

Water Echeveria 'Lotus' deeply every 7-14 days during growing season, allowing soil to dry completely between waterings.

Echeveria 'Lotus' requires well-draining cactus mix or regular potting soil amended with perlite and coarse sand.

Echeveria 'Lotus' prefers temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C) and tolerates brief cold snaps to 25°F (-4°C).

Echeveria 'Lotus' grows slowly to moderately and needs minimal fertilizer, requiring only diluted succulent fertilizer monthly during spring.

Echeveria 'Lotus' thrives in USDA hardiness zones 9-11 and can tolerate brief frosts down to 25°F (-4°C). These zones encompass Florida, southern California, southern Texas, southern Arizona, Hawaii, southern Louisiana, coastal Georgia, coastal South Carolina, southern Nevada, and parts of coastal Oregon. The succulent also grows well in protected microclimates throughout Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina's coast, and select areas of Tennessee and Arkansas where winter temperatures rarely drop below freezing.
  • Q: Is Echeveria 'Lotus' safe for pets and children?
A: Yes, this plant is pet friendly and safe around cats, dogs, and children. Echeveria 'Lotus' contains no toxic compounds that would harm pets if accidentally nibbled.

Q: How often should I water my Echeveria 'Lotus'?
A: Water Echeveria 'Lotus' every 7-14 days during spring and summer, reducing to every 3-4 weeks in winter. Always wait until soil is completely dry between waterings.

Q: Can Echeveria 'Lotus' grow in low light conditions?
A: While Echeveria 'Lotus' prefers bright indirect to direct light, it can survive in lower light and grows successfully under office LED lighting. Colors will be less vibrant in low light conditions.

Q: How do I propagate Echeveria 'Lotus'?
A: Propagate Echeveria 'Lotus' by gently removing healthy leaves and letting them callus for 2-3 days before placing on well-draining soil. You can also separate offsets that form around the base of the mother plant.

Q: Why are my Echeveria 'Lotus' leaves turning yellow?
A: Yellow leaves on Echeveria 'Lotus' typically indicate overwatering or poor drainage. Reduce watering frequency and ensure your pot has drainage holes with well-draining succulent soil.

Q: How big does Echeveria 'Lotus' get?
A: Echeveria 'Lotus' reaches 4-6 inches across and 3-4 inches tall at maturity. This compact size makes it perfect for desks, windowsills, and small container gardens.

Husky chew proof....so far
My husky has a habit of gutting and destroying any squeaky chew toy I have gotten for her. This one so far has lasted a over a month now I must say it does make her work for a treat when hidden in the center of it. So far all the stitching and parts are attached and like new. The plastic center where you hid the treats is intact, the firmness of it does make it difficult to get the treats you put in hard to remove-so choose wisely and not put in large pieces as there is one of the first pieces still inside the center as even I can't get it out. So my girl she enjoys carrying it around and playing with it so this chew toy is a win for this husky owner

DANGER
DO NOT BUY!!! DANGER! We have had the turtle ones before and then got these. Be we bought two. there is a plug peice in the end that popped out. My dog ate it the first time and had to have emergency surgery because it was stuck in his intestines. We had it removed which cost THOUSANDS of dollars. Also was on vacation when it happened and had to come early when the sitter informed us he was ill. We felt guilty for month! had he got something in our house or yard was it our faults. We saved what they removed which looked like a cork but we dont drink wine. we have a frenchie that doesnt enjoys long walks on the beach if you know what i mean so would not have had access to eat something other places he doesnt relaly go anywhere. This was his favorite toy for a long time so when it got dirty outside, we threw away the first one and took out the second one to replace it . One day i was sitting playing fetch with him when i saw the plug peice come out. I caught it and took it out of his mouth. I IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZED IT. I ran to grab the zip lock bag the vet gave us with the cork looking item covered in gunk and slime from inside his intestines, ran to the sink to rinse it off and what do you know. mystery was solved. This toy could have killed my dog !

THE favorite toy
Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1), Style: Shark, Size: 1 Count (Pack of 1), Style: Shark
I found this toy used at a thrift store almost 1 year ago. My Shih tzu mix loved it so much till all the seams ripped out and 2 out of 3 squeekers fell out and it was shambles, hardly usable at all. 1 week ago I decided to try my luck to find a similar shark toy for Finnegan. I couldn't believe my eyes when I found THE EXACT same toy!! When I unboxed it, I put the old and new side-by-side and imagine his surprise, it was priceless! Very pleased with this.

Best Dog Toy Ever!
Size: Small (Pack of 1), Style: Monkey, Size: Small (Pack of 1), Style: Monkey
Unbelievable. See below previous reviews. Today is 3/22/2023 (4th Update): Cavachon is now three years old. THIS MONKEY is STILL played with DAILY. She’s played with and lost interest in dozens of other toys in the past three years, but Monkey is always the go-to. Now only on Monkey #6, which is remarkable considering the daily torture she puts Monkey through. Other toys get destroyed, but Monkey endures. This toy is our dog’s best friend and playmate! 10/9/21 (3rd update): Its rare that any toy (without food inside) keeps the interest of our Cavachon for even 30 minutes… yet day after day, she runs around with Monkey for at least an hour. She’s on her 4th Monkey… and this thing gets mauled, chewed, super-squeaked, fetched, and shook violently EVERY DAY. Durability times ten! 2/21/21 (2nd Update): Crazy pup is now 14 months old, and she plays DAILY with “monkey”! She’s on her third monkey because eventually she pulls off the tail, but each of her first two lasted months. ORIGINAL REVIEW MAY 2020: There is something really special about this monkey... Our 5-month-old Cavachon LOVES this toy. I recently ordered a second one, in case she wears out the first one. She knows it’s her “monkey” and finds it when we ask her “Where’s monkey?” She fetches it, walks around squeaking it, and she also zooms around the house shaking it furiously by the tail. She’s been playing with, and chewing on all parts of It, DAILY for three months. In the photo, you can compare the brand-new one, still on the cardboard, with the one she’s mauled for three months. Not much difference. I would say this is an extremely durable, and safe, toy.
