Too many single word quotations, choppy sentences that hoped around from subject to subject and some events discussed way out of chronology with other events. Some of this, particularly the constant one word quotes, may be for dramatic effect, but I found it disturbed the flow of the reading, something that is important in trying to get through a book this size. I prefer books with well organized paragraphs and syntax. This is not such a book.
