Dicamba and MCPA are both selective herbicides, controlling annual and perennial broadleaf weeds, but not killing grasses (if used at the recommended rate). They are synthetic plant growth hormones, acting as a growth regulator. It has low toxicity to animals and is rapidly excreted in the urine. It has not been found to accumulate in animal tissues
