The Table Palm, often known as the Umbrella Palm (Cyperus alternifolius), is a tropical, grass-like plant with a unique appearance, featuring slender stems topped with a whorl of thin, radiating leaves resembling umbrella spokes. This plant is popular as an indoor houseplant for its low-maintenance needs and attractive, tropical look. Native to Madagascar, the Umbrella Palm thrives in humid environments and is often used in water gardens or near ponds due to its tolerance for wet conditions.
