Germination: 8-14 days at 21-27°C. Light is required for germination.
Sowing:
Transplant: Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost. Requires light to germinate so do not cover or cover extremely lightly. Bottom water or mist to avoid displacing soil. Harden off and transplant out after risk of last frost has passed.
Direct Seeding: Not recommended, unless you have a very long growing season.
Care: No special care required.
Harvesting:
Fresh: Harvest when the flower is fully developed and stems feel firm to the touch at the base of the flower's plume.
Dried: Harvest at a similar stage as harvesting fresh stems. Hang to dry in a dark, well-ventilated place.
