This Digital Soil Moisture Tester Project focuses on a simple and compact digital soil moisture tester to check whether the soil is dry or wet. A soil moisture sensor is useful for the indication of the amount of water content of a given soil sample. It can also be used to check the dryness or wetness of cotton, woolen, and woven fabrics.Digital Soil Moisture Tester uses a number of LEDs driven by ubiquitous display driver IC LM3915. The display panel shows the relative magnitude of conductance (reciprocal of resistance) between the two test probes when these are inserted in the soil. The tester measures the dryness or wetness through soil resistance readings (0 to about 5 kilo-ohms) and indicates in dot mode by sequential lighting of LED1 through LED8.

Great organizer for "normal length" chains

This little tree has saved all my random jewelry from its fate of being a tangled mess in a zipper bag, or in my nightstand drawer, or the bottom of my purse...you get it.
If you have a lot of long (greater than 26 inches or so) chains, you may wish to opt for something taller. But for my purposes, it's just grand. Even nicer-looking than the picture also.

Excellent Buy, Quality Build, Great Price

Solid metal. Tree attaches to the base with a Phillips screw (four way). Sturdy attachment. Metal was intact upon delivery and me foolishly dropping it on the ground as I opened it out of the box. The tree is... how must I put it? Two dimensional I suppose, which you can see from the pictures the branches extend in only opposite directions. So it is not three dimensional in the aspect that the branches go every which way like an actual tree. This is what I had envisioned and I don't want you to make the same mistake. This product is what it says, my imagination ran away from me with the picture and I bought it very quickly. All in all a wonderful piece for the money.
