The Monstera deliciosa, also known as the Swiss Cheese Plant, is a popular and visually striking houseplant known for its large, glossy leaves with unique, natural perforations. It is admired for its dramatic appearance and relatively easy care, making it a favorite among plant enthusiasts. The Monstera deliciosa features large, heart-shaped leaves with distinctive holes and splits, giving it the nickname "Swiss Cheese Plant." The leaves can grow up to 3 feet (90 cm) long, creating a bold and tropical look. The plant can also produce aerial roots that help it climb and support itself.

Size: Your plant will come in a 4-inch pot with an average plant height of 8-14 inches. he Monstera deliciosa can grow to be about 6-10 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide when grown indoors, making it a substantial and eye-catching houseplant suitable for various indoor spaces.

Growth Rate: It has a moderate to fast growth rate, especially during the growing season. With proper care, it can produce new leaves regularly and may require occasional pruning to manage its size.

Care Requirements:

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves, causing them to lose their vibrant color and pattern.

Watering: The Monstera likes to be kept consistently moist but not soggy. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, and ensure good drainage to prevent root rot. It is sensitive to overwatering, so it's important to let the soil dry out slightly between waterings.

Humidity: Thrives in high humidity, mimicking its natural tropical habitat. Regular misting, using a humidity tray, or placing a humidifier nearby can help maintain the necessary moisture levels. It can tolerate average indoor humidity but will appreciate higher humidity.

Soil:  A well-draining potting mix rich in organic matter is ideal. A mix designed for tropical plants or a blend of potting soil with added perlite and peat moss works well. Good drainage is essential to prevent waterlogging and root rot.

Keeps my dog busy for a bit
Color: Navy Blue
I don't fill the hard to open spots yet, he's just figuring it out. It does keep his attention. It's a little small for a big dog (100lb Lab), prob better for a small dog. He has a hard time with the little trays. Definitely worth trying out. I wanted an inexpensive puzzle toy to try first, in case he didn't like it or couldn't figure it out.

Color: Navy Blue
It’s perfect! My dog loves it and i’m very satisfied with this purchase. The outside of the box did come sticky, which was kind of weird. Overall it’s great!

The outer part of puzzle is awesome! The inner...not so much.
Color: Navy Blue, Color: Navy Blue
My doggo Josie is a pretty smart dog. She can give you the most pitiful look (like in the pic) where you're giving her most of your lunch. She can hide your socks in another dimension! She can sit, shake and yes when Alexa plays "Turn around" by Bonnie Tyler...she will do it. I like to challenge her with a puzzle. She figured out the outter part of the puzzle within minutes but I was disappointed she couldn't figure out the inner part of the puzzle. Then I figured out why. The inside puzzle is very hard to push around. She gets frustrated that it won't open or move around very well. I let her do the outer puzzle for treats but I no longer put treats in the inner part. I want her to be entertained...not frustrated. I'll keep it for a bit and then pass it on to a dog shelter.

Great fun
Color: Navy Blue
Great fun to watch my dog learn how to get his treats. Slows him down so they last longer. He’s almost ready for level 3.
