The seeds will take about 2 to 4 weeks to germinate. You will see small green shoots coming out of the soil. You need to water them regularly and keep them in a bright place. When they have 2 or 3 leaves, you can transplant them to a bigger pot or outside.
Japanese Red Spider Lily likes full sun and well-drained soil. It does not like frost or drought. Water it often and fertilize it once a month during the growing season. You can also mulch it with organic matter to keep the soil moist and cool.

Japanese Red Spider Lily will bloom in late summer or early fall for about 2 weeks. The flowers are very fragrant and attract bees and butterflies. They are also very popular for cut flowers and arrangements. You can enjoy their beauty and scent in your home or garden.
