About the bulk box:
- These are Medium-sized fully aquatic potted plants, planted in rock wool in 2" plastic pots.
- Each plant will vary in size, with plants as small as 1.5" in height to as tall as 14" in height.
- You can expect to receive multiples of the same species. For example, a box of 25 potted plants might include 5 Bacopa Monnieri, 5 Cryptocoryne Spiralis, 5 Amazon Swords, 5 Hygrophilla Compacta, and 5 Vallisneria Italian.
- Plants will be labeled.
- Specific plant requests are not guaranteed. Bulk Boxes are picked from current availability. However, please include in the order notes if you have broader requests. For example, low-light plants, background plants, swords, bunches, more variety vs. less variety, etc. We cannot guarantee all of the plants will meet your broader request, but we will do our best to accommodate you.
What you can expect:

Great reference textbook.
Format: Paperback
I love the style of the author's writing for this text. It is not too dense, and they provide humor/ a more personal approach. The way the chapters are divided is great for a quick glance. I like that it provides a section devoted to the techniques of each theory and provides different case examples. I initially went back and forth between renting and purchasing. Ultimately, I'm glad that I purchased it because I think it will be a good quick reference guide.

Best textbook I've ever read, LOVE GEHART
Format: eTextbook
I used another Gehart textbook in a different class and I can't say enough how much I love this author. In 6 years of academia I don't think I've actually enjoyed reading a textbook until this. She has a "needs to know" section at the beginning of each chapter so even if I haven't had time to read the entire chapter before when I need to I can read that and have some basis of understanding. She also includes information on the theorists, and even though I always skip that part I know some people really like knowing about that.
I think it is INVALUABLE that each chapter also has a sample case conceptualization and treatment plan template. AS WELL AS exploring the implications for each theory of its strength's and limitation's with working with diverse clients.
My only very minor complaint is the Questions for Personal Reflection and Class Discussion. For several of the chapters it really seems like this was written by someone who hadn't even read the chapter because there were questions asking about something that was very minor or barely mentioned in the chapter.

one of the most helpful counseling books I've found
using this in my master's level counseling class and it's a great resource. I appreciate the way it is written/organized/formatted. It offers some historical background to the theory, describes the theoretical concepts and framework, gives a case example, a sort of worksheet/guide for applying it in practice, and cultural considerations for each chapter/theory.

Great w/ADHD
Format: Paperback
This book was highly recommended to me as graduate intern because I struggle to stay focused. This is an easy “get what you need” book of various modalities and provides you the ability to learn enough about the modalities in addition to applying the modality quick reference format.
Would highly recommend for anyone that gets extremely overwhelmed learning modalities.

I wish I had bought it the first semester of school
This is the most comprehensive treatment planning book I own. I wish I had bought it in my first semester of school. Gehart is a clear and engaging writer. The clinical vignettes are true-to-life. The theoretical summaries are priceless and will save you hours of confusing cross-referencing and reading. If you are involved in psychotherapy, clinical psychology, counseling or even a humanities scholar who is interested in theories of psychology, you should have this book on your reference shelf.
