This particular species is a great option for the home given its highly adaptable nature and easy care. Like other Philodendron species, P. Bipennifolium is a climbing variety and will trail or vine with assistance from its aerial roots. In the home, it will be necessary to stake the plant or provide a sturdy pole to prevent the plant from flopping over as it matures. A well-aerated grow medium that retains moisture is ideal and increased humidity levels and temperatures are preferable for this Philodendron.
Propagation can be done via cuttings as long as the plant has a viable node or growth point. Humidity can be increased through the use of a humidifier, pebble tray or also by placing the plant in an enclosed container that is opened periodically for fresh air flow.
