Plant Care:
Light:
Loves bright, direct to bright indirect light. A sunny windowsill or well-lit patio is ideal. The more light, the better for healthy growth and fruit development.
Water:
Water when the top 1–2 inches of soil are dry. Avoid overwatering. It’s best to water the soil and occasionally fill the central rosette (the “cup” at the base of the leaves) with a small amount of water.
Humidity:
Enjoys moderate to high humidity but adapts well to average household conditions.
Temperature:
Thrives in 70–85°F (21–29°C). Protect from cold drafts and bring indoors if temperatures drop below 55°F.

Ananas comosus is non-toxic to cats and dogs, though the leaves and small pineapple can be spiky—handle with care.
