Recommended growing method is to start seed 6-8 weeks prior to your zones last frost date. Gently press seeds into growing medium. Keep moist until seed emerges. Water lightly or from below as to not disrupt seeds as light aids germination. Soil temperatures of 65°-75° required. Harden off before transplanting outdoors in permanent location.

Direct seed can be done after all threat of frost has passed and soil temperatures have warmed. Not recommended unless your zone has an extended growing season.
