MICROBE-LIFT/Calcium Montmorillonite Clay comes from one of the highest calcium clay deposits in the world. Calcium based clay may help your pond water to produce some of the healthiest and deep colored koi youve ever raised (or seen)! The kois markings will become brighter and more dominant.
Plastic pre-formed ponds, as well as vinyl, cement and rubber ponds, do not have any nutrients on their bottom. In the wild, carp use mud to get many of their micronutrients and minerals. MICROBE-LIFT/Calcium Montmorillonite Clay has a negative electric charge which will bind the clay particles to positively charged toxins in the water. MICROBE-LIFT/Calcium Montmorillonite Clay is not only a nutrient source for koi, it will also "polish" your pond water. The clay acts as a natural flocculent and the particles that are bound up are filtered out of the pond.
The clay can help make pond water sparkling clean (polishing).
Clay is used in ponds to achieve many goals:

- 2 lbs. (MLKKB2) Treats 200 gal. pond for 2 years.
- 4 lbs. (MLKKB4) Treats 500 gal. pond for 16 months.
- 6 lbs. (MLKKB6) Treats 1,000 gal. pond for 1 year.
- 25 lbs. (MLKKB25) Treats extra large ponds or ponds with many fish.
- 50 lbs. Treats extra, extra-large ponds or ponds with many fish.
Application Rate
PONDS 100–249 gal: 1 level tsp twice weekly
PONDS 501–1,000 gal: 2 level Tbs twice weekly
You may use more clay to meet your goals. Cannot be overdosed.
