Saint Tropez Tall Round Fiberglass Planter Box

Commanding Vertical Altitude. Sculptural Bullet Silhouette. Commercial-Grade Architectural Performance. Direct the eye upward and anchor open floor layouts with a fluid, modern centerpiece that defines luxury scale. The Jay Scotts Saint Tropez 24-Inch Diameter x 50-Inch Height Round Tall Fiberglass Planter Box is a monumental landscape engineering asset designed to inject dramatic verticality into high-profile design spaces. Standing at a breathtaking 50 inches tall—over 4 feet of continuous architectural rise—and presenting a substantial 24-inch round max diameter, this elite container features a sleek, elongated bullet silhouette. Purpose-built for grand hotel lobbies, soaring corporate atriums, exposed resort pool decks, outdoor plazas, and high-end residential entryways, the Saint Tropez series shapes spatial flow without consuming excessive horizontal square footage. Hand-finished to order in the United States from premium industrial composites, it delivers unmatched structural resilience and upscale minimalist refinement.

Key Architectural & Performance Features

Towering vertical Statement Profile

The defining visual achievement of the Saint Tropez 50" model is its soaring vertical scale. By carrying foliage up to immediate eye-level and beyond, it effortlessly breaks up monolithic blank walls, frames high-clearance entryway thresholds, and punctuates vast open-air voids with a crisp, fluid silhouette that emphasizes premium architectural lines.

Premium Commercial-Grade Fiberglass Engineering

While traditional stone, heavy cast concrete, or cheap consumer plastic pots warp, peel, chip, or crack under massive root expansion and intense freeze-thaw cycles, Jay Scotts molds the Saint Tropez from high-density industrial fiberglass. This sophisticated composite gives the unibody shell an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, allowing it to remain highly manageable during initial site installation, while curing into an immovable, shatterproof structural anchor once filled with potting media.

Hand-Applied Automotive UV Coating System

Every single Saint Tropez vessel is precisely hand-inspected, custom-coated to order with multiple layers of premium commercial automotive liquid marine paint, and expertly hand-cured within our premier U.S. production facilities. This high-end finish system chemically bonds straight into the composite framework, actively repelling midday sun fading, seasonal chalking, and blistering across sub-zero winters and coastal salt environments alike.

Tailor-Made Design Palette

Coordinate seamlessly with any property branding guide, corporate workspace theme, or luxury residential layout. Choose from over 20 hand-finished UV-resistant colors, spanning sleek minimalist contemporary neutrals (Matte White, Charcoal, Slate Gray) to grounding earth-inspired tones (Sandstone, Olive, Mocha), luxury metallics (Brushed Bronze, Gunmetal, Champagne Gold), and bold statement finishes (Gloss Tangerine, Gloss Red, Bordeaux).

Operational Suitability & Design Placement Guidance

The Saint Tropez 50" Monumental Round Pillar operates seamlessly as a vertical zoning tool for professional interior plantscapers and commercial landscape architects. It functions beautifully as a standalone focal piece, symmetrical entryway anchors, or arranged in staggered rhythmic sets alongside smaller variants of the Saint Tropez collection.

PLACEMENT AND WEATHER CONFIGURATION NOTE: The Saint Tropez planter arrives default from the factory without drainage holes, making it instantly ready for entirely mess-free, watertight indoor deployment over polished executive lobby floors or commercial carpets. For outdoor open plazas, exposed rooftop decks, front steps, or garden pathways, ensure the "Pre-Drilled" drainage hole variation is selected so automated rainwater escapes cleanly, avoiding root rot and preventing freeze-expansion structural hull damage during harsh winter freeze-thaw cycles.

Shipping, Returns, & Warranty Guidelines

  • Handcrafted Production Lead Times: Because each premium fiberglass container is custom painted-to-order and hand-cured to fulfill your exact finishing specifications across our expansive palette, this product carries a strict standard manufacturing lead time of 5 to 7 business days prior to final warehouse logistics release.
  • Comprehensive 3-Year Protection: Enjoy absolute peace of mind. Every container holds a robust 3-year limited structural manufacturer warranty starting from the moment of physical product acceptance. Yardify.com will, at its sole discretion, repair, exchange, or credit the original purchase price for items demonstrating defects in workmanship or core materials. *Mishandling, impact abuse, or storing units inside wet, steamy cartons voids protection.
  • Palletized Heavy LTL Freight Logistics Required: Due to the professional 50-inch vertical scale and architectural profile of this large model variant, orders are wrapped securely, heavily padded, and strapped flat onto wooden pallets to guarantee pristine transit safety via heavy freight trucks. Delivery sites require a standard commercial loading dock or forklift; residential freight deliveries require specialized liftgate drop services.
  • Custom Paint Return Matrix: Because every Saint Tropez unit is hand-painted and finished to order to match your personalized aesthetic, these custom planters are classified as final sale, non-returnable, and non-exchangeable. Standard un-drilled stock items returned with written authorized consent within 14 days are subject to original shipping assessments and up to a 30% factory restocking fee, issued as store merchandise credit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Given the 50-inch vertical height, is this tall round planter stable outdoors?

Yes, exceptionally stable when planted correctly. While the Saint Tropez features a soaring, elongated bullet profile, its wide 24-inch diameter forms a substantial, mathematically balanced foundation contact patch. For outdoor installation in active wind corridors (like open plazas or rooftop decks), professional landscape designers typically fill the bottom third of the vessel's internal cavity with heavy drainage aggregate stones or sandbags before packing the upper core with standard potting soil. This lowers the center of gravity heavily to the ground, transforming the pillar into an immovable architectural anchor that safely resists standard wind gusts and accidental pedestrian contact.

What botanical families perform best inside the Saint Tropez 50" model's interior opening?

This large format provides an expansive soil basin and interior aperture designed to support extensive root systems and large-scale statement botany. For luxury indoor environments, plantscapers highly prefer tall vertical tropical tree specimens, such as Fiddle Leaf Figs, Bird of Paradise, Areca Palms, or mature Rubber Plants. For outdoor courtyards and open plazas, it pairs beautifully with structural dracaena, architectural snake plants, large manicured boxwood topiaries, or cascading arrangements of ornamental grasses (like Pampas or Blue Fescue) that soften its clean rim.

Will the custom automotive finish peel, bubble, or crack if exposed to harsh freezing winter conditions?

No. Jay Scotts implements an industrial liquid marine automotive coating system that chemically fuses straight into the raw fiberglass composite shell. This premium topcoat smoothly manages severe temperature expansion and contraction cycles without bubbling, cracking, peeling, or turning yellow over years of exposure. For permanent outdoor use, always ensure you select the "Pre-Drilled" drainage variation so water can escape automatically rather than forming expanding ice blocks inside the core basin core during winter freeze-thaw cycles.

How should I handle and care for the planter box immediately upon its arrival?

Because the automotive coating finishes its final stage of natural curing shortly before warehouse logistics packaging, we highly recommend unpacking the container carefully from its protective palletized wrapping immediately upon physical delivery. Let the tall round pillar rest in open, natural air circulation to allow the paint finish system to completely normalize, and handle the unibody edges with clean, dry hands during your initial layout installation.

Just as enjoyable as Vol 1, if not better.
Batman and Robin Vol 2: Batman vs. Robin contains Batman and Robin #7-12. Just as in Vol 1, the art is all done by Frank Quitely and is very enjoyable. This continues the story of Batman and Robin Vol 1 which raps up in Vol 3 and is my favorite instalment of the trilogy (if you want to call it that). The story has some twists and turns and the reveal at the end is totally worth it, especially since there are clues dropped along the way. As I have said in my other reviews, this is part of the Grant Morrison Arc that will be detailed below, but the Batman and Robin trilogy could be read alone outside of the other stories. This picks up from Vol 1 after the events of Batman: R.I.P. and Battle for the Cowl. Again these are my favorite B&R as the dynamic between the two is very enjoyable to read and watch and the story is engaging. Pros: -B&R are amazing -Art is solid -New characters are fantastic -Original story line -So many little clues as to what is going on -Grant Morrison Cons: -Grant Morrison -Relatively Short -Vol 3 (see review) *Morrison's Story Arc is as follows: Batman and Son (Included in Black Glove Deluxe Edition) Batman: The Black Glove Batman: RIP Batman: Batman and Time (or Final Crisis but still needs 701 and 702) Batman and Robin Volume 1-3 Batman: The Return of Bruce Wayne (Technically happens during Batman and Robin Volumes 1 and 2) Batman Incorporated (and Leviathan Strikes) Batman Incorporated Vol 1: Demon Star (New 52) Batman Incorporated Vol 2: Gotham's Most Wanted (New 52) A readers guide to Grant Morrison's Batman is a great help if you are looking at the whole series.

An Excellent Continuation For The New Dynamic Duo
I really loved Batman and Robin Volume 1. This arc is my favorite part of the Morrison Batman run, even though I really struggle with and don't enjoy everything that comes before it. But it's worth it for this duo of Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne. Volume 2 gets off to a slow start with a few issues about a deranged Batman resurrected by a Lazarus pit. Readers who haven't read Morrison's other work, including Final Crisis, will be confused by what occurs here. But the gist is that Dick and Damian learn what the readers already knew, that the corpse they thought was their father wasn't his (instead a failed clone from a Darkseid experiment), and that their father is out there somewhere. The art in these initial issues is also a bit rough and lower in quality, which is the only reason I brought this down to 4 stars. The second story in the remainder of the volume though, that pits Damian against Dick and tests Damian's loyalties is a great continuation of the Batman and Robin story and might be one of the best parts of the series. Damian may be rude and sociopathic, but this arc gets to let him shine a bit and show that he really does care about his big "brother" Dick Grayson, and about his father's legacy. As a bonus, there is a running mystery about the duo's new ally Oberon Sexton, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I won't spoil the ending, but it's a truly fun reveal that makes you rethink Sexton's role in the adventure in an interesting way. Again, this is a great story for Batman/Dick Grayson/Damian Wayne fans that I strongly recommend.

Not Perfect, But Loved It Anyway!
Format: Hardcover
The cover and title of this collection are slightly misleading, but it's still a fantastic read. Robin isn't willingly trying to kill Batman, however, I'll let you find out what's really happening yourself. I love the new Batman and Robin team of Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne. It's a fun change of pace to have a more lighthearted Batman, and a bratty and brooding Robin. This is the second collection of the new Batman and Robin series, but I still enjoyed it without having previously read all of the first volume. The Highlights: Batwoman, a zombie Batman, Talia al Guhl, Slade Wilson, the mysterious Mr. Sexton, the history of the Wayne family, and the beginning of a Joker story line. The new flying Batmobile is awesome. I love Grant Morrison's writing, and here he writes a fun and interesting Batman adventure. Things to Consider:There are two different artists in this volume. The first half is decent, and the second half is more unique with some great pen and ink work. I enjoyed the second part a lot, but it's not quite the classic super hero style art you might expect. This may not be a groundbreaking story, but this series is great. So if you're interested in Batman and Robin, you won't regret checking this out.

Wow! Great Stuff!
Format: Hardcover
Before I read this book, I had just read the other recent Batman trade, "Life After Death" by Tony S. Daniel, and I was seriously disappointed. I really struggled to get through it. So the next night, I started to read this one, Batman vs Robin, and I couldn't put it down - I almost read the whole book in one sitting (if it wasn't late at night, I probably would have finished it). It just confirms, once again, what a great writer Grant Morrison is. In this trade, you get two main story arcs (with a nice "cameo" by Batwoman in one story) and the search for Batman really starts to develop, here. I enjoyed Volume 1, but IMO, this one is far superior.
