It is preferable that the soil does not contain much organic material, such as peat moss and that the plant is not fertilized with heavy nitrogen as this can cause an explosion of soft, flabby growth that can make the plant prone to bacterial rots. Decomposed granite is often an excellent media as it has many trace minerals and is similar to the South African quartz fields where these and others of the "Stone Mimicry" are found growing. Adore this glitter!

I get so many compliments on this glitter! I use it in my hair and on my eyes. I spray it on a tissue and dab it on with a eyeshadow brush because sometimes it clumps no matter if you shake it and gentle press. I use a makeup sealer and hairspray so I’m not sure how much it stick on its own. The sparkle has gotten Twilight references lol

Horrible! Do no recommend. The container is super small and it doesn’t spray well. It literally falls in clumps and is very wasteful. I would have returned it had I not been in a hurry and needed something quick for dance recital weekend.
