Tillandsia Houston Cotton Candy is a beautiful air plant, an incredible cross between a T.stricta x T.recurvifolia. The best features of both of the parent plants are displayed in this plant. It has soft leaves that are silvery in color with purple accents. When in bloom, it has a stunning bright blush to rose-pink balloon flower.
All of the plants may be shipped bare root. -
Tillandsia Cotton Candy is hardy and it loves to grow in well-lighted areas.
No soil is needed. Sand, sea glass, rocks, pebbles & bark chips can be used instead of soil.
Frequent misting several times a week is necessary. Cotton Candy will also benefit from a soaking bath every month. Give it a little shake off afterward to make sure water doesn't collect in the bottom leaves to prevent rot. - Cold Hardy to 30° to 40°F.
