Compared to standard 'Sweet Thai' variety, it produces larger leaves, grows taller (2-3' tall) and bolts 10-12 weeks later. The plants are upright with purple stems and dense, dark green foliage accented by a purple tint, creating a striking and well-formed appearance. We have harvested it into Octover here on our farm.

We just adore Thai basil for its distinct flavor. Basil originated in Southeast Asia and later spread throughout the world leading to the subsequent development of many varieties.
