Echeveria 'Neon Breakers' US PP21,406 is a patented succulent developed by Altman Plants. A thriving E. 'Neon Breakers' is nothing short of an electric sight. This show-stopping hybrid forms rosettes to 8" or more in diameter, eventually producing offsets. Rosettes have many leaves that are red-violet-mauve, with very crinkly neon pink margins. 'Neon Breakers' is not only more colorful than its parents, it is far more disease resistant, and does not suffer the "shutdown" from dormancy that some other echeverias suffer. When 'Neon Breakers' flowers, it's almost unfair to the neighboring plants. Its deep pink flowers, complemented by purple sepals, shine from stalks well above the rosette. It can be used as a patio plant where some afternoon shade is provided. Propagation prohibited.

Great Book.
Format: Mass Market Paperback
Its great to be able to go back and read Stokely Carmichael today in his own words. This book provides an excellent overview of what black power means and how the concept originated. Although the book seems a bit dated today, many of the ideas presented are still entirely relevant. Ive only given the book four stars due to its age. Many of the statistics presented are dated, and undoubtedly there are other texts available today that present these ideas in a much better/newer way. But if you are interested in Stokely Carmichael and what he stood for, this is the book to read.

Format: Paperback
Excellent articulation of the Black Power initiative within the Civil Rights Movement. A detailed view of Black Power, it's objectives, how these would be achieved, as well as it's misinterpretations. An afterword from each author appended in 1992 provides insight, reflection, and perspective on all that's changed, and what hasn't, since the book's publishing.
