The Succulent Mix brings together 20 mini succulent plants in Ø5.5 cm pots with varied shapes, textures, and colors — shades of green, gray, and reddish depending on the variety and light received. Compact, graphic, and very decorative, they adapt to all interiors and require minimal care.

Discover them in our cactus and succulents collection and in our easy-care plants selection.

Lot Content

Each Succulent Mix contains 20 mini succulent plants in Ø5.5 cm pots — the composition varies according to seasonal availability, always with varieties that complement each other in shape and texture. Also discover our mix of 18 succulents and our set of 30 succulents for other sizes.

  • Varied shapes: rosettes, columns, trailing stems — each variety has a distinct silhouette.
  • Matching colors: light green, bluish green, silvery gray, reddish depending on the light received.
  • Identical needs: all share the same requirements for bright light and minimal watering.

The assortment is unique for each order — varieties vary by season. Photos show an example of a possible arrangement.

Light & Location

Succulents thrive in a bright and dry environment — the more light they receive, the stronger their shapes and colors become.

  • Exposure: bright light to full sun — ideally a south- or west-facing windowsill.
  • Ideal: very bright window, sunny kitchen, office with direct natural light.
  • Temperature: 15 to 27 °C, protected from cold and drafts.
  • Humidity: low — they prefer dry air.

In summer, avoid direct heat behind a closed window that can rise above 50 °C and burn the fleshy leaves.

Watering & Care

Succulents are the most tolerant plants when it comes to missed watering — they store water in their fleshy leaves. Check out our watering guide to find the right rhythm.

  • Watering: very low — let the soil dry completely between waterings.
  • Frequency: every 2 to 3 weeks in summer, once a month in winter.
  • Soil: essential — special cactus soil or a mix of soil + sand + perlite.
  • Golden rule: always water at the base, never on the leaves — water on foliage causes rot.

Never let water stagnate in the saucer — succulents tolerate drought perfectly but die quickly from excess water.

Decor Ideas & Plant Combinations

Their mini size and variety of shapes make them ideal allies for plant arrangements — terrariums, trays, planters, or graphic alignments.

  • In combination: pair them with an Aloe Spider or a Crassula tenelli for a succulent composition with contrasting forms.
  • Ideal decorative pots: our ceramic relief decorative pots Ø7 cm are perfectly suited to this mini size — matte ceramic, concrete, or terracotta to highlight their natural tones.
  • In arrangement: group them in a shallow bowl or line them up in individual pots for a graphic and contemporary look.

Verdeia Tips

  • Light intensifies colors — in full light, some varieties develop spectacular reddish or purplish hues (a reverse etiolation phenomenon called "color stress"). In insufficient light, they remain uniformly green and gradually stretch seeking light.
  • Never mist — succulents hate moisture on their fleshy leaves. Water that stays in rosettes or between leaves causes rot that is quickly fatal. Water exclusively at the base of the pot.
  • Ideal for terrarium creation — their mini size and well-draining soil make them perfect candidates for open terrariums. Use only special cactus soil and ensure the terrarium is well ventilated.

You will laugh and cry
Format: Kindle
Luckily, I stumbled into a link to this book on Transfeminine Review. One warning: take your eye makeup off before reading. You will laugh till you cry and that is not a good look with mascara. The plot resembles the movie American Fiction. Pearl is an aspiring trans woman writer. Her first novel has sunk without a trace so now she is going to try something more commercial: a gay male romance with James Bond action marketed to straight women who love that kind of thing. She's even adopting a pen name as Paul Sisters, s gay man. For a time it works. She has a publisher, Muzzle And Escutcheon is selling well and "Paul" has a fan following. Still, it's getting harder and harder to maintain her fake identity and she's having to make ever more compromises with her own identity and relationships. One other caution. Pearl does have to deal with casual transphobia. One sequence of her doing an online chat as Paul with transphobic fans and trying not to let it get to her I foundto be particularly triggering Good, funny, recommended

Brilliantly written
Format: Kindle
I read this in a single sitting, mesmerized. I cared about the protagonist even as she made increasingly bad and soul damaging decisions. I love love love her girlfriend and her roommate is also fun. One could argue that the humorous elements convey the dangers of being a trans woman in both publishing and life especially well. I also enjoyed the publishing scene aspects like in Yellowface. A great read. I’m now a fan!
