Opuntia 'Sunburst' (Rooted 4"pot size)
Common Name: Sunburst Prickly Pear

Opuntia 'Sunburst' is a rare and eye-catching variegated prickly pear cactus known for its striking marbled pads that blend soft green, creamy yellow, and occasional pink blush tones. The pads grow in a classic stacked form and can create a dazzling, sun-kissed effect—hence the name Sunburst. This listing is for a rooted 4" pot, perfect for your rare Opuntia collection.

Each pad has minimal glochids and small, scattered spines, making it more manageable than many other prickly pears.

☀ Light Requirements
Loves full sun. Bright light enhances the variegation and encourages upright, compact growth.

💧 Watering Needs
Mature plants need water only when the soil is completely dry.

🌡 Temperature Tolerance
Cold-hardy to around 20–25°F once established in dry conditions. Add a [Heat Pack] for winter shipping or cold zones.

✨ Special Features
Bright Variegation – Creamy-yellow and green marbled pads with occasional pink blush
Easy to Propagate – Each pad can become a new plant
Low Spine Count – More user-friendly than many Opuntias

Other Common Names:
Sunburst Prickly Pear, Variegated Opuntia Pad

Of course, if you receive a plant that you are dissatisfied with please reach out to us. We want to make it right!

If temperatures near you are below 45℉ we highly recommend adding a Heat Pack to your order.
If temperatures where you live will be much lower than 20℉ even heat packs may not work. You may consider waiting until things warm up a bit. We know you love your plants just like we do and we wouldn't want any of them to freeze.

Beautiful in a window seat
Size: 2' x 6' (Sheepskin Pelt Patchwork), Color: Ivory White, Size: 2' x 6' (Sheepskin Pelt Patchwork), Color: Ivory White
This is soft, pure white, and of decent quality for my purposes. I saw a photo of one used in a window seat so that's where mine is white 3 lumbar pillows on the sides and back of the seat. The size is perfect. It's a little bigger than my seat so I could use the tape to pin one side to each wall and also over the seat. I guess it all depends on what you are using it for to determine if you'll like it. I have a large sheepskin rug in another room. This one in my opinion is too skinny to be used as a rug. I haven't detected a smell at all.

It's real!
Size: 2' x 3' (Sheepskin Pelt Patchwork), Color: Ivory White
Off white but totally happy. Even though it's wool, it doesn't itch and is very soft. The patches are few and not at all noticeable from front. Very thick and looks great!

Nice and fluffy, the color is a bit lighter
Size: 2' x 6' (Sheepskin Pelt Patchwork), Color: Light Brown
Pretty and fluffy. Wishing the color were a bit darker so it matched my decor better. It’s hard to tell what color you’ll actually get 🫤 Not ideal but doable.

Beautiful rug but smelly when you first unpack it.
Size: 2' x 6' (Sheepskin Pelt Patchwork), Color: Ivory White
Beautiful quality. Deep thick fur. The "patches" are noting more than where 4 or 5 inch splits, one at each end were stitched back together. I wouldn't have even called them patches. They are the same stitching as used to join the two pelts in the middle. The color is a very clean white. Being natural pelt, I was really expecting something a little more blond. I've bought New Zealand sheepskin several times before and I don't doubt this is Aussie or Kiwi sheepskin but I didn't notice this is processed in China before I bought it. Still, the only complaint I had was a strange chemical smell when I unwrapped it. It didn't smell like the tanning chemicals from previous pelts. But it's gone away after 3 weeks so I guess all's good.
