Growing Information
🌱 Plant Type: Bare root strawberry (June-bearing, late season)
🌱 Hardiness Zones: 3–8
🌱 Mature Size: Up to 12 inches tall and wide
🌱 When to Plant: Early spring, as soon as soil can be worked
🌱 When to Harvest: Late season (typically early to mid-summer, depending on location)

Cultivation Tips
Soil requirements: Plant in well-drained, fertile soil rich in organic matter. Incorporate compost before planting and avoid low areas where water may pool.
Sunlight: Full sun (6–8+ hours daily) for best fruit quality and sweetness.
Planting depth: Set plants so the crown sits just above the soil surface—not buried and not exposed.
Spacing: About 12 inches apart (can be spaced wider if desired for airflow).
Watering: Water thoroughly after planting and maintain consistent moisture throughout the growing season. Mulching helps conserve moisture and suppress weeds.
Harvesting: Pick berries when fully red and fragrant. Harvest every few days during peak season.
Landscape use: Excellent for garden beds, containers, and edible landscapes. Its perennial nature allows for productive harvests year after year with proper care.

Our dogs hurt their mouths chewing these bones
Color: Purple & Blue
I don't do a lot of reviews because I realize many are objective opinions. However, in this case I felt it was necessary to warn others. Our dogs are aggressive chewers. Their last rubber bones (not these) which we've purchased before, and recently purchased again, were destroyed quickly. Chunks of rubber came off the ends. Since those didn't hold up like they used to, I found these harder bones hoping they would last longer. They were able to gnaw into the hard plastic within a few minutes. This created sharp edges that cut their mouths. When I saw a bit of blood on the bones, I took them away from the dogs and threw them away. I wondered why they quit chewing on them after being so excited at first. Also, these are hard enough to damage a tooth.
