How much light does the Cat Palms need?

Cat Palms thrive best in bright sunlight but can survive with lower lighting conditions. So if you have a room that is bright enough for you to read a book, you are essentially fine. 
Don't keep your palm in direct sunlight, too much sun can cause scorched leaves.

How much water does the Cat Palms need?

Cat Palms - like most palms - like to be consistently moist, but not wet. So we recommend watering the Full Size Cat Palm when the first 1-2 inches of the soil is dry, that is about once every 5-7 days. When you water, make sure to water thoroughly by pouring water across the soil for a solid minute until water drains from the bottom of the pot.

Watering is dependent on the amount of sunlight your Cat Palm receives, the more sunlight the faster the soil will dry!
