About this item

  • How to Grow Roses from Seeds

    Step 1: Treat Rose Seeds
Rose seeds need a much longer germination period than many flowers. If you aren’t careful, this extended moist storage can lead to the growth of molds that can threaten young rose seedlings.
To prevent fungus spores from growing, you can destroy them with hydrogen peroxide. Add one-half tablespoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide to one cup of water and soak the seeds in this solution for an hour.                                                                                                                                                                                      Step 2: Cold Germinate Seeds (Stratification)                                                        The natural rose germination process takes a few years. First, the rose hip needs to break down and decompose. After the seeds are fully exposed, they must undergo a period of stratification.Rose seed germination relies on a climate that experiences cold, moist winter months. You can simulate this winter environment using your home refrigerator.Place the rose seeds evenly spaced on a damp paper towel. Be sure to avoid overcrowding. Cover them with another layer of moist paper towels and seal the seeds in a plastic bag.Place the bag of seeds in a clean, empty crisper drawer. It would be wise to first sanitize the drawer with bleach and hot water to prevent mold contamination.Ensure the seeds remain moist throughout the entire stratification process. Add more clean water whenever they start to feel dry.Leave the seeds in the refrigerator for at least two months or until you are ready to sprout them.                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Step 3: Warm Germinate Rose Seeds
Once the stratification process is complete, you can germinate rose seeds as you would other flowers. It is crucial to bring the seeds out of refrigeration into conditions warmer than 70 degrees.
Ensure the seeds remain damp and leave them in a warm environment until they sprout. This can take up to a month, and it is likely that not all seeds will germinate.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Step 4: Plant Rose Sprouts
Add moistened seed-starter soil mix to seedling trays. Make a slight indentation for the rose seeds in each cell.
The tiny tendrils that emerge are roots and must be handled very carefully. Gently remove the rose sprouts from the paper towel and place them root down in the seed trays.
Cover the seeds with moist soil and leave the seed trays on a sunny windowsill. Use a clean spray bottle to mist the rose seedlings when they start to feel dry.
For the best results, consider using Hoss Tools Deluxe Seed Starting Kit. This kit includes a 24-cell seed starting tray with a dome lid, seed-starter soil mix, fertilizer, and more.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Step 5: Transplant Rose Seedlings
As the rose seedlings grow, pay close attention to the seed leaves so you know when to transplant. Wait until the true leaves develop, which take on the typical rose leaf appearance.
Gently loosen the dirt from the tray cells and slide the seedlings free. Move them to individual containers and let them continue to grow for about a year before you transplant them outdoors.

  • Caring for Young Rose Plants

Give your rose seedlings the support they need to grow strong stems and lush foliage. Add half-strength fertilizer to each planting location.
Not all fertilizers are equal. Use a high-quality blend like Dry Fertilizer for guaranteed results.

    • How long does it take to grow a rose from seed

Growing roses from seeds is a lengthy process. Without proper stratification, it can take multiple years for seedlings to emerge.
Even the fastest-growing roses will likely take two full growing seasons to produce beautiful blooms.

    • Do roses grow true to seed

Heirloom rose varieties grow true to the parent plants, while hybrid varieties are less predictable.
The task of growing roses from seeds is very involved. For this reason, most gardeners prefer to grow roses from cuttings.
If you want to experiment with cross-breeding unique roses, then you need to grow them from seed.
To get predictable results, you must control pollination. This will ensure that your homegrown roses will grow true to color.

    • How to grow roses

All you need to know about growing roses, in our detailed Grow Guide.Roses are some of the most beautiful and versatile garden plants. They come in a variety of forms, from patio roses to shrub roses, ramblers and climbers. Nearly all of them make an excellent cut flower. Single-flowered roses are great pollinator plants, while some species are used by leafcutter bees to make their nests. Most roses need sun and heavy soils to thrive, but some will grow well in partial shade and poorer soils. There really is a rose, or three, for every garden.Key points about growing roses
Most roses thrive in full sun.Roses need rich, moist but well-drained soil.Water roses regularly so the soil stays moist but not waterloggedRoses are hungry plants. Mulch annually with organic matter such as well-rotted animal manure, and consider using a rose feed to promote flowering in summer.Prune roses annually to promote healthy growth, control the shape and encourage flowering
Plant bare-root roses from November to March. Container-grown roses can be planted at any time of year.

    • How to grow shrub roses

Shrub roses and English roses come in a huge range of sizes and colours ââ‚?some can grow to 2m in height. Shrub roses are typically robust, healthy, repeat-flowering plants offering colour when other shrubs have finished flowering. Some shrub roses have a good fragrance, but if you want a scented shrub rose then English roses are for you. Shrub roses and English roses are perfect for growing in a mixed border, large container or as part of a rose garden. Some can also be trained as climbers or used to grow into a hedge.

    • How to grow climbing roses

Climbing roses are the perfect plants to add height to a garden, without being too vigorous. There are climbing roses available in all the popular rose categories ââ‚?hybrid tea roses, bourbons and English roses. Choose from double or single flowers, thornless or scented. Climbing roses can be grown up house walls, along garden fences, over pergolas or up large obelisks.

    • How to grow rambling roses

Rambling roses are often confused with climbing roses. Ramblers are far more vigorous than climbers, and bear one fantastic flush of flowers, usually in June, followed by colourful hips. Climbing roses often repeat flower and have larger flowers.Rambling roses need plenty of space as they grow quickly. They’re ideal for growing up a tree or tumbling over a wall. They're perfect for covering an eyesore in the garden, such as an unsightly shed or out-building.A rambling rose looks great growing up into a tree, especially an apple tree, providing flowers after the apple blossom fades but before the fruits form. In this video guide from Gardeners' World, Monty Don shows you how to plant two different rambling roses ââ‚?'Wedding Day' and 'Sander's White'. He details what conditions a rambling rose needs, how to prepare the soil, and how deep to plant it so it settles in well over autumn and gets off to a good start in spring. You'll also find out how far from the tree to plant the rose and how to encourage it to climb up the tree.

    • How to grow patio roses

Patio roses are small enough to grow in pots. They are compact in habit and thrive in lighter soils than many other rose types. Patio roses are not as long lived as other types of rose, but they're easy to manage and remain compact if hard-pruned each spring.

    • How to grow ground cover roses

Ground cover roses have a trailing or spreading habit. They're ideal for growing in a container, at the front of a border or on steep banks. Many are modern introductions have good disease resistance. If given the right conditions, ground cover roses can suppress weeds.

    • Roses to grow by colour

Roses come in a huge variety of colours. Browse our lists of roses by colour, below, for the best one for your garden:
      Pink roses to grow
      Purple roses to grow
      Yellow roses to grow
      Beautiful red roses to grow
      Orange roses to grow

    • Growing roses in pots

It's possible to grow roses in pots, meaning you can grow roses in even the smallest gardens. While all but rambling roses can be grown in pots, shorter growing bush varieties, or ‘patio roses', are ideal. They’ll do best in large, deep containers ââ‚?an absolute minimum of 50cm in diameter and the same in depth ââ‚?to keep their roots cool and moist during summer. In hot, dry weather, soak the compost every two to three days, and feed regularly.

    • What to grow with roses

Many plants can be grown with roses to great effect. Climbing roses work well grown with clematis. Rambling roses can be trained to grow up a tree. Patio roses work well with a variety of other plants suitable for growing in pots, while shrub roses can be grown in a mixed ornamental border, alongside nepeta, lavender and other herbaceous perennials.

    • When to plant roses

The best time to plant roses is in autumn, when the soil is warm and the water table is at its highest. Roses will establish quickly before becoming dormant, and then burst into life again in spring. Roses come as potted plants or as bare-root plants (sold without soil on the roots). Technically, you can plant a potted rose at any time of year and a bare-root rose from October to March, but autumn remains the best time to plant roses.

    • How to plant roses

Plant roses in a well-prepared hole with added compost to improve soil structure and aid water retention. Back-fill with soil and firm in well, then water thoroughly. In this Gardeners' World programme clip, Monty Don shows you how to plant shrub roses. Watch as he plants the yellow-flowered, myrrh-scented rose 'The Pilgrim' in the Cottage Garden at Longmeadow. He explains how to prepare the soil and dig the hole, how and why you should add mycorrhizal fungi, and what rose care to provide to ensure the rose settles in well.

    • How to plant bare-root roses

Planting bare-root roses during the dormant season is cheaper than planting container-grown roses, because the growers don't need to water and feed the plants when they're dormant, and they weigh less and take up less room when shipping. What's more, there's a far greater selection of bare root roses available to buy than container-grown roses, giving you more choice. You can plant bare-root roses at any time between October and the end of March, but planting them in autumn helps them establish more quickly because the soil is still warm from summer, and is typically moist.

    • Pruning roses

Pruning is essential for the overall health, vitality and appearance of roses. Winter is the key time to cut back most varieties, except rambling roses, which are pruned in summer immediately after flowering. The basic principles of pruning are the same: cutting back hard will promote the strongest growth, while light pruning will result in less vigour. The other basic rules include cutting to an outward-facing bud to prevent compacted growth, and removing closely positioned stems that might rub or compete for space. Also remove stubby ‘snagsââ‚?(short, dead lengths of stem with no growth on them) and thin, twiggy stems, which are unlikely to produce anything worthwhile in terms of growth and flowering potential.

    Flower Bulb Facts of Life

    Bulbs: Beauty In a Bottle:

Bulbs are a natural product. And, as such, follow a natural cycle of growth and rebirth. Enjoying their fabulous flowers means planting ahead in one season then results the next. Bulbs are among the easiest flowers to grow, not only are they affordable, but bulbs offer the most stunning colors available. Even the most novice gardener can create a breathtakingly beautiful spring garden with bulbs.

    What's a Bulb?

A flower bulb is really a self-contained flower factory. Within this marvelous little package is nearly everything the flower needs to come to life! Split a bulb open, for instance, and you'll see its baby flower bud, leaves, roots, stem and food supply. All bulbs need from you is to be placed in the ground at the appropriate season of year, given a liberal drink of water then left to work their magic.

    Variety:

Flower bulbs come in seemingly limitless varieties which makes them perfectly suitable for any garden design you can dream up.

    Is It a bulb ?

The Difference Between Bulbs, Corms, Tubers, Roots,Today, people commonly us the term 'bulb' to refer to any plant that stores its own food underground. But, in truth, many popular 'bulbs' are not true bulbs at all. These include corms, tubers and roots and, while they all produce beautiful flowers, technically the plants are different

    When To Plant

In fall, after soil temperatures are below 50ºF/10ºC. These bulbs bloom the following spring and require the cold winter temperatures for development. But let's say winter arrives and your bulbs are still in their bag. Not to worry! Bulbs are pre-programmed to grow so even if you have to plant through snow, plant your bulbs!

    How To Plant

Most bulbs thrive in either full or partial sun and in almost any location with good drainage. Avoid planting at the base of hills or under drainage pipes where water collects and will rot the bulbs.

    • Dig a hole
    • Drop in the bulb
    • Water thoroughly

    Tips For success

    • A larger grouping of flower bulbs are far more fab than just a few planted here and there. Think clumps of color.
    • Buy the largest bulbs you can find.
    • Note the flowering times. Not all bulbs will bloom at the same time. A little planning will greatly increase the number of months you will enjoy bulb flowers.

    Passionate About bulbs

Generally speaking, the best predictor for gardening success is bulb size. Almost always, the larger the initial bulb size planted, the larger and stronger the plants will be, producing more flowers. The first year end result will be noticeable to anyone. The best predictor for gardening success is bulb size.

Great robovac! We named ours “Robby the Robovac.”
    Size: 06-15C Max
I hesitated for years to pull the trigger on getting a robot vacuum, and I shouldn’t have. If you are on the fence, get one. This thing has been worth the $250 in the first month, alone. (I compare it to a maid service fee.) It automates the simplest but most essential task of cleaning, because most dust and dirt ends up on the floor. It also forced me to finally tidy up all the wires and miscellaneous junk I had laying around on the floor, and thereby also eliminate areas where dust and dirt would accumulate, both of which were unexpected side benefits. It also frees up time to then wet mop and clean other places more easily, and tacitly helps me WANT to follow through with those final stages of cleaning that are easier because it takes care of the most time-intensive, initial stage of cleaning. It has been a life changer for us. The first week made the house smell a bit dusty because it kicked up all the latent dust from the corners, under furniture, and in the rugs. But once it got through that stage, the whole house looks and “feels” so much cleaner and smells nicer. Subtle but significant difference. I live in a one-story bungalow with mostly hardwoood or laminate floors, with a low-nap Berber floor covering in my master bedroom. I have a mid-size wire-hair dog who sheds normally, and it is perfect for picking up dog hair. I also have a nine year old son who adds to the dust and dirt. The suction is great on all of our surfaces. It works better than my stand-up “cyclonic” Hoover. Having three suction settings allows you to adjust the noise level depending on how clean you need the suction to be. The side brushes seem trite but definitely do work to help collect and”funnel” dirt into the collection bin. They also hit under furniture legs and walls edges to help collect the dirt that hides there. The collection bin does need to be emptied frequently (every few uses, especially when you first use it), but I look at that as letting me know what would have been on my floor if I didn’t have the unit. It is amazing how much it cleans off the floor even after the first wave of cleaning. The different cleaning modes are also well thought out: edge cleaning, spiral-spot cleaning, and random walk cleaning. I use the edge cleaning mode the most because dust and dirt tend to congregate along the edges. Three downsides that are probably fixed in higher end models. First, getting the app to work was unnecessarily frustrating and difficult because I forgot my exact WiFi password. The problem is that the interface requires you to go through about a five minute process for each “guess,” which made syncing to the app much more frustrating and unnecessarily slower than it should have been. Then with each failed attempt, I also had to also manually reset the entire unit by pressing the power button for 20 seconds. They should program it to test the password quickly so the entire syncing process does not take five minutes until you find out you typed the password incorrectly. (Especially because WiFi passwords are case-sensitive, so it is easy to mistype it). Once I typed the correct password and synced it, the problem was over, but it was frustrating and time consuming. Second, controlling the unit manually through the app is difficult because of the lag time in the signal through WiFi. So any time I manually steer the until, I use the remote and not the app. Not a big deal, but something to note. It is also too loud to schedule vacuuming at night. It woke us up the first three times it ran a scheduled overnight clean, partly because we keep our bedroom doors open at night. We are still on COVID lockdown, so I can’t just schedule it to run during the day while we are at work. So I just run it in the background during the day or when I leave to go to the store or take the dog for a walk. Nonetheless, none of those are dealbreakers, mostly just minor inconveniences that are acceptable at this price point. It still earns its five star rating for fulfilling its primary purpose and then some.

Life Changing, and Superb Customer Service
    Size: 12, Size: 12
Hey folks. I bought this model of Eufy while on sale a little over six months ago, and have used it daily since. Thinking about buying one? Do it. No regrets here, and I wish I had purchased one when I first began thinking about it a year and a half ago. I live next to the Gulf Coast in Florida, and coastal living = constant sand. Fine, white quartz sand ends up in your home constantly regardless of how many rugs and floor mats you place at entranceways. Our home is completely tiled, and the powdery sand sticks to everything, so it’s a never ending battle keeping the floors clean. We used to sweep pretty much daily in the morning, and then use a hand vac around corners in the evening just to keep up with it. We also have one cat, a Great Pyrenees, and an English shepherd, so sweeping daily was necessary to keep fur from drifting into giant globs in corners and under furniture. After purchasing the Eufy, and charging it up, we no longer have to sweep every day. The eufy is simply fantastic at getting up all the pet fur and sand. Instead of sweeping every morning, I now stare off vacantly out the window while drinking my coffee, and the eufy sweeps for me. My five year old named our Eufy “Mumford” and we created a face cut out from a roll of white window cling vinyl (purchased the white vinyl window cling on amazon too- it’s meant for those Cricut machines) for the little guy. Mumford is now a treasured family member. For reference, my house is all tile and is about 1500 square feet. The eufy can clean our dining room, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and playroom on a single charge, but since it doesn’t map out the rooms, I do place it in one room at a time, and block it off or shut the door. It does fine if I don’t block it off, but takes longer to get the job done. Since I keep the common areas clutter free, it is no trouble running the eufy every morning. I have my kiddos pick up anything on the floor, and then we hit the button and go about getting breakfast ready. If you are messier, or have a lot of clutter in your home- a Eufy probably isn’t the answer. It can’t do a good job if it isn’t able to roam around freely to vacuum. It fits under all of our furniture, and maneuvers well around my oak dining tables and chairs. If your home is very large and multi level, and you don’t want to pay attention - you may want something that maps your home. Eufy bumps around haphazardly, and when you leave it on long enough and run it consistently, it does a great job. I do not run it when we aren’t home, and I do not run it at night when we are sleeping. The last thing I want is for one of the dogs or the cat to get sick, and then have eufy run over the mess. Eeew. If you have pets, don’t make that mistake. If your home is larger than 1500 square feet, you’ll likely have to clean different sections at a time maybe on different days or nights of the week. Customer service is fantastic. After six months of daily use, our unit had a malfunction. The bumper on the right side would stick, and our unit would spin constantly clockwise. I contacted Eufy, and they did some troubleshooting with me, and when that didn’t fix the problem, I was sent a brand new unit. They emailed me a free return label to ship my old one back to them at no charge. All in all this is an excellent and helpful product, and the company that makes it is reliable and true to the warranty. I know several people that own one and love it, and have recommended it to friends and family members. Buy one!!!!!!

Cleans so you don't have to... QUIETLY
    Size: 07-C30
I previously bought a Deebot for use on our main level floor, where we spend most of our time at home. It works great and connects with our Google Home. But we run it in the middle of the weekdays because it's pretty noisy. Still, we really like the benefits of a robotic vacuum. So, we thought we might try it on our lower level. I set it up downstairs, but found that, while it seemed to pick up dirt, the back end bounced quite a bit over the berber carpet, which isn't an issue on the main floor which is hardwood with only one entry rug. So, we went about looking for an alternative for downstairs. We really wanted something that can connect with our Google Home, so that limited our options within our budget. There were lots of great reviews of iRobot products for carpet, but I had a hard time with the price. There were a few other brands, as well, but they were obscure brands, and I didn't want to be stuck with an expensive vacuum and no customer service. Eufy was a brand I kept in mind as I shopped because we'd had a lot of experience with their parent brand, Anker. They've always sold us a great product at a reasonable price, and importantly, if a product failed for any reason, we'd experienced great customer service. I finally decided I'd pull the trigger on the RoboVac 30C because it had the features we wanted. I ordered it from Amazon on Thanksgiving with a bunch of other stuff I wanted to get. I was a bit disappointed that there was no Black Friday pricing, but it was still very competitive over the deeply discounted Roomba models *(see below). It arrived on Sunday, so very quick shipping via Amazon Prime. We set it up right away. The first, VERY OBVIOUS thing we noticed... It's quiet* (see below). Way quieter than the Deebot. As we had hoped, it also picked up dirt from the carpet easily and without bouncing. The magnetic strips also helped to avoid another pitfall of the Deebot... We have these chairs with unusual bases that are low enough on the edges for the vacuums to drive themselves up on, then there's a hole about 3 inches from the edge that creates a cliff for the vacuum to get hung up on. Both vacuums will do that, but the Eufy 30C has those strips which it won't cross. Put the strips around the base of the chairs, and no hangups. The only issue right now is that, unfortunately, the Eufy app doesn't play with Google Home very well. We are assuming that will get fixed. And if it doesn't, the app works pretty well as a stand alone, which is the next best thing, so I won't dock any stars for that. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this vacuum so far. It does clean very well and doesn't have any problem doing approximately 400 square feet on a single charge around furniture and other odds and ends on the floor. *Customer service : Many vendors will contact Amazon customers shortly after purchase of one of their products to make sure all is well. Eufy did this. I thought I'd give them a preliminary review because I wanted to let them know that things were going well so far. I mentioned that it worked great (didn't know about the Google home issue, yet, but I was overall pleased). I mentioned as an aside that it was a tiny bit annoying that it arrived on Sunday and the Cyber Monday deal made a significant price difference. Still, I liked it enough that I wasn't going to be too annoyed. I certainly wasn't going to try to return it and buy it again to get the better price. A couple days later, they thanked me for my comments... And refunded me the difference in price. They definitely didn't have to. But it was pretty awesome of them. *Noise level: My hubby set up the schedule for the RoboVac 30C. He decided to go with the same schedule as the Deebot, on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in the middle of the day. But instead of setting it up for 12:01 pm, he set it for am. It was running in the middle of the night and we didn't know it for 2+ weeks. I discovered it when I decided to make sure to have the app on my phone too and saw the scheduling error. To be fair, we sleep on the upper level of our modified split level house and the RoboVac is on the lower level, but I have ears like a bat, and had no idea. And yes, it's cleaning - - I've been cleaning out the dust bin for it regularly. Definitely wouldn't have been that way with the Deebot. So, yeah. It's quiet.

My little OCD cleaner - 2020 One Year UPDATE
    Size: eufy 30
One year update: I bought my 2 Eufys Aug. 2019 and use them once a week or every two weeks and have come across some quirks. The most recent quirk is Eufy just stopping in the middle of a room with the blue light still on and no error beeps. Apparently, it stops for no reason. I hit the remote start and it continues its job. Another quirk is stopping and beeping with blinking light for some reason (keep your manual handy) and once was because of the front Pivot wheel not moving because of hair being wound around it. I popped the wheel off, cleaned out the hair, reset Eufy by pushing the reset button on the bottom and it then worked fine. Another quirk was getting to the stairs and for some reason couldn't turn around and started beeping. That time I just wiped the three sensors on the bottom and reset it and it was fine after that. One day, it just continually stopped for no reason that I could find. It just stops, no beeping and still fully charged. I just kept resetting it with the bottom reset button until it finally finished the room. That happened about 10 times that day. Over the winter, I had a stray cat decide she wanted to live with me, so now I have a cat with long hair and she sheds a lot. Eufy doesn't pick up large tufts of her hair from my rugs, so I use a hair mit on the worst spots on my rugs and then Eufy does a fine job on the rugs. Another tip, try using your magnet strips to divide up larger rooms. I ended up having to do that in my living room because otherwise it took forever for Eufy to hit every area. Now I divide it in half. When one half looks complete, I pick up Eufy and put it in the other half. That works well! Also, your magnet strips can be stuck to the side of your refrigerator for storage! I find that very handy. :) You really do need to clean Eufy between charges. I have my system broken down into Living room and kitchen. Clean and charge (about 4.5 hours), then the hallway, bathroom, bedroom. Clean it and charge. Then lastly, my office/sewing room. Clean it and charge. It takes only 5- 10 minutes to clean it between uses. I'm still thrilled I have these Eufys and have decided I will never be without a Robo Vac - ever. And hopefully Eufy will still be around when I need a replacement. I bought these partly because of the Anker name. I've bought other Anker products for years and they're always made well. End of update. I bought two of these yesterday with the Deal of the day and received them today. They both took about 3 hours to fully charge and then it was off to the races. One went downstairs and the other one upstairs. I left the Eufy downstairs in the basement to do its thing on low pile carpet and tile and went down to check on it periodically. Twice I found it stuck in strange places. One was on top of a small table base and the other was lodged next to my furnace. I'll just have to block those two areas next time. The one upstairs was in my kitchen for a good 45 minutes to an hour! OCD I'd say, but my kitchen is nice and clean. :) Rugs included. These do an excellent job with edge cleaning. The one in the kitchen miraculously followed the curves in the pedestal base on the table. Pretty cool. It also traveled over all my wood floor vent covers which is pretty impressive because they're pretty thick! It also fits under most of my furniture. I sent a Roomba back years ago because it wouldn't fit under my sofa, loveseat and tables. That made it useless for me. These fit under everything except a lowboy chest and 3 smaller tables in my living room...Swiffer will take care of those. The drop sensors worked perfectly at the stairs. It turned around instead of going down. The upstairs Eufy finished my kitchen, living room, entryway and was in the bathroom when the red light came on and is now charging. Both Eufys ran for the 100 minutes as stated in the manual. I emptied the upstairs bin twice, but only because I had stopped the Eufy to get it out of the kitchen and before I sent it to charge. The bin wasn't full either time, but had plenty of dirt and fuzz in it, so I'm happy with that! I decided I'm not programming a schedule because I don't need my house cleaned daily. It's just me here and no pets anymore, so I will manually turn them on once or twice a week. I did pick EVERYTHING up off my floors for this first cleaning, but that's just not ever going to happen again. It was a PIA and I could have vacuumed my entire house in the time it took to clear the floors. I'll leave the cords zip tied, but everything else is staying put next time. All that work defeats the purpose of having these. I am THRILLED TO DEATH with these though. Vacuuming is one of my least favorite chores. These will definitely be used weekly and I look forward to watching them work instead of me! Also, these are sooooo quiet. You can't even hear where they are in the same room as you if they're cleaning underneath something. I'm so glad I bought them and at an excellent price. The exorbitantly expensive robo vacs are just not feasible for me. Maybe if they had a 20 year life span, they would be, but they don't. I'm also not into controlling everything through a stupid app or WiFi. Don't need those and don't want those. I don't need NHS knowing when I'm vacuuming my house. These were worth every cent, IMO Great little vacs!

Love, love, love my 30 C Max!!
    Size: 03-30C Slim Max
OMG! This is one the single best purchases I've made! It's a life changer! I can wash dishes, walk the dog, do laundry, work on computer, workout, work in the yard, go shopping, etc., while vacuuming. I love the multitasking it provides. Saves so much time and my floors have never been so consistently cleaned. I wouldn't say I hate vacuuming, but I do dislike it enough that I didn't vacuum as much as I should've. I dreaded taking vacuum out of closet, getting arm and back fatigue/achiness then needing to wrap it up to store it away..... I truly thought the Eufy would be something I'd end up returning because of poor performance or because I would simply not like or use it. Wrong, wrong, wrong. I loved it from the very first use!.... Can't understand why I hadn't bought one long ago! Everybody needs one; they just don't know it!..... I named it 'WOW' because that's what I kept saying as I watched it clean my floor. It cleaned under my bed which alone made it a keeper! It's quiet, so much so, during first uses I searched for it thinking it had turned off/stopped working when actually it was working perfectly, I just couldn't hear it. I had to go into the room and stand near it to hear it. An equally important factor is it doesn't frighten my easily frighten dog which could have been a deal breaker (happy dog = happy life). She just looks at, occasionally will follow, it with curiosity or ignores it. Probably the best compliment is my husband (who often thinks a purchase is not needed/money wasted) having said my WOW was a good/useful buy. I was shocked! Think his exact words were, "Getting that was a good idea". When I asked him why he said that, he said because it's helpful and it does a good job..... Set up was super easy (I don't use app. One reason I chose this model is I wanted to use manual remote). The included accessories show Eufy's thoughtfulness which helps to put their vac over the top. (I plan to use only original replacement brushes, filters in appreciation and support for their offering a quality product at a great price) ..... I thought I wouldn't like the random movement and had strongly considered the 30G Edge (took me forever to decide b/w the two), but I find I really like the randomness. I feel it similarly patterns the way I'd normally vacuum (as well as it being normal needing to pick up cords, etc. , so to me that isn't a negative). The random pattern makes it quick. Can use remote if feel a spot was missed (which is why I wanted remote), but it does clean whole area - just set it and forget it. I now know the slow, streamline pattern of the 30G Edge would have been frustrating..... I could go on and on, e.g., drop sensors work flawlessly, spot cleaning helpful for entry rugs, empty/cleaning dust bin/filter is quick and easy, boundary strips have been helpful - only downside is strip packaged in a roll makes it not lay straight once unrolled (ends curl up); perhaps it could be in strips instead of a roll, and to ensure no damage, I chose to use painter's tape to attach strip to floor, and battery life good so far. I have always needed to turn it off before battery ran low because the floors were done. Once I let it continue to test the battery length, but it was taking so long I ended up turning it off after approximately an hour. It successfully finds dock, takes extra time if obstacles blocking its way..... To end a long review I will lastly say I feel the suction power is very adequate; leaves passage trails on carpet and evidential proof in the dust bin! Like others, I chose Eufy because of Anker's reputation, and because of the good customer service reviews. Thinking of getting a second one for upstairs... Love, love, love my 30C Max!
