I’m Wyatt the Elephant Tree, Operculicarya decaryi, native to Madagascar. I'm quite the rare find! My compact leaves vary in color from a shiny green to a copper bronze color when in full sun. I am an evergreen shrub known for my knobby trunk and grayish bark. Keep me in a window that has direct or partial sunlight a few hours a day. 

To water, submerge my pot in water up to the rim for 5 minutes about once every 3-4 weeks. Water more in the summer than in winter. Dry, warm apartments might make me dry out quicker, so check the weight of my pot. Avoid overwatering and allow me to dry out in between waterings.
