The Monstera deliciosa Borsigiana Albo has variegated green and white leaves, which are either splashes or blocked areas of white on the green leaves. Much like its close relative, the Monstera deliciosa, the leaves of Monstera deliciosa Borsigiana Albo fenestrate as the plant matures. They thrive in bright, indirect light, a higher humidity of around 70%, a warm environment over 18deg, and evenly moist soil. The variegation in Monstera deliciosa Borsigiana Albo is caused by a genetic mutation that affects chlorophyll production. The result is those beautiful white or pale green variegated areas on the leaves.
