Sempervivum Colorockz 'Summer Frost' (Gielis) is a fresh and gentle looking hens and chicks variety with a soft green rosette dusted in silvery hairs along the leaf tips and edges. This variety grows most actively in spring and summer, then settles in comfortably for winter. Like other Sempervivum, it handles cold weather with ease and often rests safely under a blanket of snow. With its soft texture, steady growth, and calm frosted look, ‘Summer Frost’ brings a cool, peaceful feel to any outdoor planting.

Gritty, well-draining soil is essential. Use a cactus and succulent mix with 50%-70% mineral grit such as coarse sand, pumice, or perlite.

Nice but not great
Fits true to size. I ordered a small and it was a great fit. Could be a bit softer. Loved the style. Not too thin or not heavy, nice weight. This quality of the sweater was nice, however the buttons broke apart as I was styling the cardigan. Not happy to have to sew on small buttons to fit the small holes. It’s nice but I had to put too much effort into wearing it.
