Germination Guide
Pine seeds benefit from cold stratification. Stratification is a process of simulating natural conditions that the seeds must experience before germination can occur (if a seed germinates in the middle of winter it will die). In the wild, seed dormancy is usually overcome by the seed spending time in the ground through a winter period and having its hard seed coat softened up by frost and weathering action. This cold, moist period triggers the seed's embryo; its growth and subsequent expansion eventually break through the softened seed coat in its search for sun and nutrients.
- Sow at any time of the year.
- Soak seeds for 24 hours in water which starts off hand hot.
- Drain off the water and place the seeds in a small zip lock bag
- Place in the fridge for around 4 weeks.
- Check weekly if any seeds have germinated - if so remove and pot these up
- After the 4 weeks sow these seeds in pots/trays of moist but not wet general purpose compost
- Cover with a thin layer of vermiculite
- Keep at room temperature and ensure compost does not dry out.
- Seedlings should appear in 10-20 days

The pillows have a chemical smell

I bought two Marlow pillows a while ago. They are great pillows. The two new Marlow pillows I just purchased have a chemical odor. The manufacture date is Sept. 2024. I have them airing out hoping the smell will dissipate , so far that has not happened.

Simply The Best

It appears there are more than 1,000 pillows advertised and available all over the Internet. The situation is a comedy routine. If you want a cooling pillow because you're a hot sleeper or if you want a plush pillow for back problems or a combination or neither, it doesn't matter. Be prepared to read 1,000 different advertisements until you start laughing out loud. This is what I did, but I wandered upon this Marlow Pillow system and then trusted the Amazon ratings. And boy am I happy, though a word of caution: if you want the cooling technology to really work you've got to pair this pillow with the Marlow pillow protector. Because Amazon didn't carry the pillow protector I bought it directly from Marlow. And this is the last pillow I'll ever get or need to get. Comfortable like a goose down pillow and yet cool to the touch and cool all night long. So I got lucky; have avoided having to buy multiple pillows; and now am enjoying the heck out of my Marlow King with the Marlow pillow protector. Lastly, this pillow is adjustable with a zipper and it works: you can make it softer or harder with a quick zip. The best pillow out there, by far!

Really good pillow!

This is the first pillow that I have owned in the last 10 years in which I have not experienced any neck pain. It's the right density, comfort level, and is a high-quality item. I am a side and stomach sleeper. Try this pillow and I think you'll be happy.

OMG I finally found the one

I use to have a pillow that I took it everywhere. It finally was gone I couldn’t find one that I had. So my quest for the perfect pillow was 17 different pillows. I finally found the one!!! This pillow is soft but is sturdy. My head lays on the pillow and doesn’t fall to the bed. My neck isn’t tilted in an awkward position. The coolness of the pillow is amazing. This pillow is everything I was looking for. The price is 100% worth it.
Edit ok I still love the pillow but you have to flip it because all the stuffing moves to the other side. The pillow still has enough that it was still comfortable. I wish that the stuffing would stay in the same pot.
