This exquisite early 20th-century Heywood-Wakefield wicker baby carriage captures the grace and craftsmanship of a bygone era. Hand-woven wicker over a curved iron frame, it features a rare front drop-door panel secured with original leather strap fasteners — a distinctive detail seldom seen on surviving examples.

The carriage rides on four wooden-spoke wheels with rubber rims and metal hub caps, mounted to a bent-iron bow undercarriage that provides a gentle rocking motion when pushed. A turned wooden pushbar completes the classic profile, and the maker’s plate on the front reads Heywood-Wakefield, Pat. Pending, identifying it as one of the company’s finely built prams from the Gardner, Massachusetts workshops.

The piece retains its natural aged patina throughout — the leather shows warm, time-worn character, and the wicker remains tight and sturdy with only light wear consistent with age. The undercarriage and wheels move freely, and the frame shows the elegant geometry typical of Heywood-Wakefield’s early suspension design.
Note: One of the wooden push handles is missing but can be easily restored if desired; the remaining handle shows the original turned form and finish.

Approximate era: 1910–1925
Maker: Heywood-Wakefield Company, Gardner, Massachusetts
Construction: Hand-woven wicker body, bent-iron undercarriage, wood and metal wheels, leather strap hardware
Notable features: Front drop-door with leather straps; bow-style spring undercarriage; wooden-spoke wheels with rubber rims; turned wooden pushbar
Condition: Original finish with aged patina; one handle missing; leather straps intact; wicker shows minor age wear; stable and display-ready

A remarkable example of early American baby carriage design — elegant, functional, and beautifully preserved. Perfect for antique collectors, interior decorators, or museum display.

Durable chew toy.
Color: Blue
My dog loves these. She chews on them a lot. She seems to like the different shapes. She is part Pit and an aggressive chewer. These chew toys last a long time. And I love the three pack so if we lose one, we always have a spare.

Decent durability for the price
Color: Blue
Bought a bunch of these for a dog shelter and have to say - decent for the price of you have aggressive chewers. All of the toys are still going 6+ months later, even with the strongest jawed pitty mix. Does get torn up at the ends but can easily be sanded down for a longer lasting toy, unlike some other hard toys with material not meant for sanding. The antler and ring seem to be favorites. The antler even has a divot so you can put soft treats in it or peanut butter and freeze it for a more interactive experience. Some came with a strong beef/liver smell but not overwhelming or off-putting. They are hefty without being too heavy, less likely to damage floors. Overall a good purchase

For aggressive chewers
Color: Blue
My pup is an aggressive chewer and these keep him occupied. He keeps coming back for them. Go to replaced old chew toys. Only issue is he leaves his toys everywhere and if you step on them. They are quite sharp
