Application of Aroid soil

Using the mix is easy! Start by removing as much of the old soil as possible. Gently squeeze the pot while holding it sideways to loosen the plant. Rinse the roots under lukewarm tap water to remove any remaining debris.

Also, trim off any dead leaves that may still be on the plant. Now your plant is ready for fresh aroid soil. Add a small layer of aroid soil to the bottom of the pot.

Place the plant in the pot and slowly add aroid soil to the sides to fill the pot. Make sure the transition from the roots to the plant remains just below the soil level. This soil is especially suitable for Monstera and other aroid plants.

Lightly pat the aroid soil to firm it. Remember to water the mix thoroughly after repotting, as this helps the mix and the roots establish.

How Aroid Soil Works

Based on years of experience in caring for aroid plants, Sybotanica has developed the perfect formula. Aroid soil contains plenty of worm castings, which promote microbial life in the soil. Worm castings are rich in nutrients that are released slowly, so your plant never burns.

The Aroid soil allows the strong roots of the Aroid plants to access the oxygen they need for healthy growth. The high proportion of perlite and coco soil helps with this. Coco soil is an excellent, sustainable base that doesn't compact and retains water longer without becoming too wet. This allows you to wait longer before watering your Aroid plant again.

SYBASoil is hand-mixed weekly in our greenhouse by people with disabilities to ensure freshness. This coconut-based mix contains 0% peat and only organic nutrients. It's ready-to-use and ensures quick repotting with great results. The added activated carbon prevents root rot, mold, and other contaminants from harming your beloved plants.

Aroid soil has been tested and appreciated by hundreds of plant lovers for standard aroids as well as rare and exotic species, with excellent results. For sustainable and easy repotting, this Aroid soil is the best choice. Thick roots and healthy plants are just a bag away.

The original habitat of the Araceae

Aroid plants originate from tropical rainforests, where humidity is high. They thrive in well-drained, airy soils that are often consistently moist. Rainforest soil is rich in nutrients from composted organic matter.

Care of Araceae

Most aroids prefer a moderate amount of water. Allow the top 5 cm of soil to dry out between waterings. Stick your finger into the soil to test if the soil can tolerate water. Because they are tropical, they prefer higher humidity.

These plants require a normal amount of fertilizer and grow particularly well when paired with a moss pole, which mimics their natural rainforest habitat, where they climb trees, rocks, and other objects. They prefer indirect sunlight and thrive particularly well in bathrooms, where humidity is generally higher.

Tough Bunny
Style: Bunny
So far so good. We’ve been able to play tug-of-war with it several times and it’s not ripped apart. That’s why I gave it 5 stars. My dog has big teeth and a strong body. So this bunny is tough Only time will tell if it’s really worth the money

Hard to Destroy
Style: Bunny
My puppy hasn’t been able to destroy it yet. All other toys have only lasted about 10 minutes.

So many squeakers!
Color: Squeaker Matz Gator, Size: X Large (Pack of 1)
I have 3 golden retrievers. They love this toy. While the head came off because they played tug-o-war with it, the rest has held up mostly for 5-6 months. At this point sometimes a squeaker will pop out. There are so many squeakers in this toy! However, they still use it for tug-o-war, I am surprised it has lasted this long. There is only stuffing in the head.

Cute, durable toy.
Color: Squeaker Matz Gator, Size: X Large (Pack of 1)
It's about as durable as you can expect a stuffed animal to be. I have two new puppies who are still teething and they love these things. I got the Kyjen sheep mat version (it's a square shape, rather than the two rows of squeakers) for the little girl. Both dogs sleep with it in their crate and we take them on trips with us. I've gone so far as to open up the toy and replace the broken squeakers (costs about 5$ for 30 large squeakers). The rest of the toy is fine. Our german shepherd puppy absolutely loves the rattle that's located in the head of the gator as well. The rattle also helps initially getting the dog engaged with chewing on the toy rather than your clothing or furniture. Then they discover the squeakers and it's endless entertainment and a good distraction for your dogs. I haven't had any problems with the thin, decorative material that's represent the teeth, claws and back fins. It's a slightly thicker felt that's soft and flimsy. Honestly, I'm not worried about it. Even if they were to eventually chew these off, they're not a choking hazard. Our little guy has thrown up solid pieces of kibble that are larger and harder than this. Seriously now, common. The eyes are sewn into the head, so there's no risk of pulling them off and swallowing. I toss these in the washer on a gentle cycle to clean off the slobber and dirt about once every couple weeks and the squeakers are fine, though they sometimes have to dry out to be 100% functional again. It never takes long. Overall, I love the amount of squeakers just due to the breaking problem with have with single squeaker toys. Once they break, the dog loses interest. Which is also a nice way to train the dogs the difference between the non-squeaking kids toys. The dogs absolutely love this toy and wont sleep without it. When the fabric eventually wears out (not even a slight issue after a few months), I'll be buying another one.
