Lilium Hybrid White Easter Lily is an absolutely stunningly beautiful lily variety grown all over the world for its spectacularly large white flower spikes with highly fragrant trumpet like flowers (this variety is also known as Trumpet Lily or Christmas Lily). The amazingly bright white flower spikes are very long lasting and provide a spectacular display over an extended period in both garden landscape settings, and are also popular for cutting, particularly with florists as they are great to fill-out any large floral display. Lilium Hybrid White Easter Lily is a taller growing variety than the White Asiatic Lily (100cm vs 50cm). Lilium Hybrid White Easter Lily is as its name suggests a modern hybrid variety and one of the most popular of all the Lily varieties as it is a very strong garden performer which is quite drought tolerant, requires very little maintenance and is very resilient towards many common pests and diseases. Unlike many of the common and wild varieties of Lily which tend to flower infrequently, the Lilium Hybrid White Easter Lily variety is specifically suited to pot and landscape applications because of its resilience and superior performance. Whilst plants from seeds can take some time to become established (germinate and mature), multiple Lilium Hybrid White Easter Lily plants in your garden, is sure to add brilliant white colour and bring plenty of happiness to your garden, not to mention a supply of stunning flowers. Lilium Hybrid White Easter Lily is known as the Easter Lily as this is when it flowers in the Northern Hemisphere, however, in Australia, this variety flowers from Spring through to Summer (i.e. throughout Christmas), and is therefore also commonly referred to as Lilium Hybrid White Christmas Lily.
