Heuchera Black Knight (Coral Bells) is a compact, evergreen herbaceous perennial with a neat clumping habit and dramatic foliage color. This striking coral bells variety features crinkled, lobed leaves that form a dense basal mound, emerging green in spring and maturing to near-black by summer with subtle silver highlights and rich ruby undersides. In early summer, Heuchera Black Knight produces delicate, light pink bell-shaped flowers on tall spires that attract butterflies and add soft contrast above the dark foliage. Heuchera Black Knight performs best in partial sun and prefers moist, well-drained soil, making it an excellent choice for borders, containers, and shaded garden spaces.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:   Low maintenance.  Hybrid tolerances vary, some can tolerate full sun if mulched and soils consistently moist.  Potential issues include powdery mildew, rust, leaf spot, and frost heaving of roots if winter temperatures fluctuate widely.
