They work with deep water culture, NFT and Kratky setups, so whatever system you're running, your plants get the conditions they need. The algae guard blocks the light that algae feed on, which means more of your nutrients reach your plants instead of feeding green sludge around the roots.

an algae guard that's always there
The algae guard lid is attached to the cup, so you can't lose it. It blocks the light that algae need to take hold, which means more nutrients and oxygen for your roots and a tidier system overall. A custom cutout sits around the stem, so you can lift or adjust the guard without disturbing the plant.
tough enough to forget about
The silicone simply won't quit. You could drive a car over one and it would spring straight back into shape. There are no awkward crevices for gunk to hide in either, so a quick rinse keeps them hygienic, and they're dishwasher-safe when you want a deeper clean.
