Buy the individual cross cut sheets, not these rolls.

I ordered two different types, individually cross cut foil rectangular pieces and these rolls both containing 36. sq. ft. The cross cut sheet blows this away. This stuff is much thinner, much less butyl rubber, much flimsier foil, and needs twice as much to have the same effect. Once you put it on, you cant remove it. The other brand's 2mm is much thicker than this.

This 3M product has been one of my go-to choices for headliner work because it is specifically designed for automotive environments where materials are exposed to extreme summer heat and winter cold. The last thing anyone wants is to spend time installing a headliner only to have corners start sagging or sections pull away months later. The spray pattern is consistent, the adhesion is strong, and it provides the confidence that the installation will hold up long-term. I have found it especially useful for Jeep hardtops, where temperature fluctuations can be much more extreme than in a traditional vehicle. The cans arrived well packaged, and having multiple cans on hand is convenient for larger projects or future repairs.
