About Sedum Adolphi 'Firestorm'

Sedum Adolphi 'Firestorm' is a fast-growing variety of sedum succulents. The succulent plant with vibrant foliage that gives the appearance of being on fire. Imagine the sight of this succulent with colors resembling a sunset during the twilight hours. It indeed provides an exceptional visual experience. The elongated leaves feature pointed tips and smooth edges, giving them an elegant and streamlined appearance. Vibrant red edges add to its overall charm and beauty. This upright-growing succulent easily forms branchy, creating a spectacular succulent tree. Clusters of white flowers bloom in late summer.

How to care for Sedum Adolphi 'Firestorm'

Sun/Location: Sedum Adolphi 'Firestorm' is easy to survive in summer, the succulent enjoys bright light. During the summer, when temperatures consistently exceed 95°F, it is advisable to move the plant to a location where it can be shielded from intense sunlight. However, the succulent plant can tolerate full sunlight for the rest of the year. Particularly during early spring and autumn, when there are temperature variations, it is crucial to ensure sufficient light exposure to bring out the succuent plant's beautiful colors. Otherwise, it may remain yellow-green throughout the year and may become leggy.

Soil/Pot: Succulents suitable for outdoor growth also have higher requirements for soil drainage. Mix particles and potting soil in a ratio of 7:3. Beginners can also opt to purchase specialized succulent potting soil. Due to its upright growth and clustering nature, planting Sedum Adolphi 'Firestorm' can be done in taller flower pots. Over a few years, Sedum Adolphi 'Firestorm' will mature into a cliff-hanging succulent, adding significant value to its ornamental appeal.

Watering: Like most succulents, the "Soak and Dry" method is the best way to water Sedum Adolphi 'Firestorm'. This method helps prevent issues like root rot caused by over-watering. During the summer, reducing watering frequency and choosing the evening hours to water is essential. When watering, direct the water close to the base of the plant rather than splashing it on the leaves. Direct sunlight on water droplets can cause unsightly spots on the leaves. However, the good news is that Sedum Adolphi 'Firestorm' has a fast growth rate, and burnt leaves can be replaced through new growth and metabolic processes.

Propagation: Sedum Adolphi 'Firestorm' is well-suited for propagation from stem cuttings. Select a healthy stem and make a clean cut below a leaf node. Let the cutting dry for a few days to callus. Plant the stem in well-draining succulent soil and place it in a location with bright, indirect sunlight. After a few weeks, roots should develop, indicating successful propagation.

Similar Varieties: Sedum 'Golden Glow', Sedum adolphi, and Sedum Adolphi 'Firestorm' may appear similar, but there are some differences among them. Sedum Adolphi 'Firestorm' and Sedum adolphi have similar leaf shapes, but Sedum Adolphi 'Firestorm' stands out with its more pronounced and vibrant red leaf margins. Especially when it's in its prime state, the striking orange-red color makes it easily distinguishable. On the other hand, Sedum 'Golden Glow' has thicker leaves compared to the other two varieties and its coloration is predominantly yellow-green.

Cheap, screw holes don't line up, screen is to short, and bars take WD-40 and a mallet
This has been my worst purchase on Amazon ever. DO NOT BUY. My first issue was that bars #4 and #5 would not go together, I ended up buying WD-40 and a mallet and that kind of got them together. Now I went to but the screen on (which is almost see thought) and the screen is to short. I can't attached the bottom bar to the tall bar. The screw hole is in the wrong spot, so the screen is not secure. No amount of pulling on the screen will make it grown .25" longer. Since I can't get the bars secure the walls are not steady and fall over easily. The feet did go together very nice. I can't return them according to Amazons policy. I bought 2 sets. I'm not going to try to build the other set I have. And I can't take apart the first set, since the bars are so tightly together. Also the polls have rust on them.

Very Poor Built Quality
Color: Black, Size: 3-Panel
They use cheap tarp like cloth that you might find on a tent, so it is not suitable as a teleconferencing background without blur applied. The legs are flimsy and lack rubber feet, so it will scratch floors. The tubing is flimsy and very hard to move and adjust. This is only good if you are setting it up somewhere like a gym or a garage.

Sturdy, Easy to Set Up, and Looks Great
Color: Grey, Size: 34" - 3 Panel
I’m really happy with this RANTILA 3-panel room divider. It was simple to set up, stands securely on its own, and gives plenty of privacy. The height is perfect, and the panels look clean and modern in my space. It’s lightweight enough to move around but still feels sturdy. Overall, a great divider that works exactly as I needed.
