Film background
Unlike the series’ more warlike or sci‑fi installments, All Monsters Attack plays as a fable about childhood anxiety and resilience—anchored by a young protagonist who retreats into an imaginary Monster Island to process real-world problems. The result is one of the most distinctive (and most discussed) films of the Shōwa run: a family-forward Godzilla chapter that has only grown in cult appreciation over time, especially among collectors drawn to its singular tone and its first appearance of Gabara.

Poster design
A spectacular painted illustration that stands apart from the era’s many photo-montage sheets—one reason this design is so often singled out as a top-tier Godzilla poster of the late ’60s. Godzilla looms against a fiery sunset sky, atomic breath slashing downward as Minilla fires back and Gabara surges through foaming surf in the foreground. Around them, a “monster roll-call” unfolds with labeled cameos including Ebirah, Kamacuras, Kumonga, and Gorosaurus—visually delivering the promise of an all-out kaijū showcase. The bold vertical title 「オール怪獣大進撃」 is rendered in huge scarlet characters with furigana, while the angled name panel pops with high-contrast typography: 「ゴジラ」 (white), 「ミニラ」 (pink), 「ガバラ」 (blue). A playful musical-staff border frames the sheet, the Toho roundel sits at upper right, and the lower-left credits line includes the Eirin seal and the imprint “Printed in Japan © TOHO CO., LTD. 1969.”

Condition
Excellent overall with outstanding display presence. Light fold lines visible and minimal additional wear. There is minor edge and corner handling and a few small pinholes from prior display. Very light surface scuffs are visible in the upper color field under close inspection. The blank verso is clean overall with fold evidence, a small tape remnant near the upper corner, and faint offset/toning along the lower edge.
