Description: 'Cupcake' is beautiful little hybrid forming a compact cluster of pastel green rosettes. The foliage is covered in minute glandular hairs which gives the leaves a soft downy feel, but also making the leaves viscid (sticky) to the touch at certain times of the year. When grown in good light the leaves will develop lovely burgundy coloured leaf margins and tannic stripes. 

Plant Care: This is an easy to care for and look after Aeonium. Plant are only small growing reaching around 20cm wide x 15cm high and are well suited to growing in pots. 

Origins: A hybrid between Aeonium sedifolium and Aeonium tabuliforme.

Comments: This has often been mistaken for and described as the hybrid Aeonium x nogalesii (Aeonium canariense x sedifolium) but this is incorrect and the two plants are quite different.
