CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

Water
These plants like to be consistently moist but not soaked. Before watering your Swiss cheese plant, stick your finger into the soil about an inch deep. If the soil feels nearly dry to the touch, it's time to water the plant. Irrigate until a little water runs out of the container's drainage holes.

Light
Because of the Swiss cheese plant's tropical origin, it grows best in bright, indirect light. It's used to thriving under the cover of large trees in the jungle, and the foliage can easily burn if it's exposed to too much direct sun. If direct sunlight is unavoidable, limit exposure to just two or three hours of morning sun.

Temperature and Humidity
These jungle plants thrive in very high humidity and warm temperatures. The closer you can mimic the plant's natural conditions, the better. Make sure your plant always remains in a spot that's above 40 degrees Fahrenheit, and protect it from drafts. A humidity level above 50% is ideal. A warm, well-lit bathroom is a good spot for this plant. If you need to increase humidity, mist the plant or use a humidifier in its space.

Soil
Swiss cheese plants grow best in peat-based potting mix, which will help to trap moisture in the soil without causing it to become waterlogged.

Fertilizer
After potting (or repotting) the plant, wait at least four to six months to fertilize it, as potting mix typically already has slow-release fertilizer in it. After that, fertilize your Swiss cheese plant monthly, using an all-purpose liquid fertilizer that has been diluted by half.

PROPAGATION INSTRUCTIONS:
You can cut the vines and root in water in a BRIGHTLY LIT space for 4 weeks and then plant the cuttings in soil.

Puppy friendly
Color: Reed, Seaweed & Corn Husk, Seaweed & Corn Silk, Number of Items: 3
This is not designed for dogs who are chewers. I gave this to my adult dog thinking she could play with it and be entertained for a little while. She had it ripped up and spread around the room in about 10 seconds. I would maybe recommend this for puppies to have something softer and gentle on their little teeth and gums. It also makes a bot of a mess once it starts coming apart so I suggest using outside or where it can be contained. Little high of a price point for the value I got out of it

My dog was immediately interested in these. He loves carrying them around and chewing on them. I also like that they’re made from natural materials.

Start with 6 pack assortment to let the dogs choose their favorite. They are fragile and messy.

They are fragile and messy. I only give them to the husky for about 5 minutes as a calming reward. His favorite is seaweed and Timothy hay. Why because we feed Timothy hay on the farm. His second choice was corn leaf. He looked at me like I was crazy when he mouthed the corn silk ball. In the future I will just get the seaweed hay balls. The sensory taste and smell calms him down. The old lab is easier on these balls. More licking and sucking than hard chewing.

Safe and fun chew toy
Color: All, Number of Items: 12, Color: All, Number of Items: 12
My dog loves this straw toy immediately. It keeps her entertained and the natural materials are safe and easy to clean. Yes, she tears it up but that’s the part of the fun. I will keep buying.

Nice Idea, but Durability Was Very Limited
Color: Reed, Seaweed & Corn Husk, Seaweed & Corn Silk, Number of Items: 3
These woven grass chew balls are a nice concept and made from natural materials, which I appreciated. They are lightweight, easy for dogs to carry, and can be fun for light play or supervised interaction. The texture also seems appealing for chewing and tossing around. However, the main issue was durability. For my miniature Goldendoodle, the toys lasted only a few minutes before starting to come apart. If your dog is an active chewer, these may not hold up very long. They may be better suited for very gentle chewers or short-term play rather than dogs that like to really chew. The natural material aspect is a plus, but longevity was disappointing. Because of the limited durability, I’m giving these three stars. Good idea, but they did not last long enough for my dog.
