Kalanchoe orgyalis, commonly called Copper Spoons, is a shrubby succulent with uniquely colored, spoon-shaped leaves covered in a soft felt-like texture. Native to the dry regions of Madagascar, this species grows upright with thick, branching stems and velvety leaves that shift in color as they mature—from silvery gray on the underside to coppery bronze on the upper surface. The leaves often look like they've been dusted with metallic powder, giving the plant a rich, textured appearance even in low light. Over time, it forms a loose, woody base and can reach a modest height when grown in a container.
The plant grows slowly and can reach 3 to 4 feet tall under ideal conditions, though it often remains smaller indoors. Leaves grow opposite along the stems and tend to curl slightly upward, giving the “spoon” effect that inspired the name. Mature plants may occasionally produce clusters of small, tubular yellow flowers on tall stalks, though flowering is sporadic and not the plant's primary feature. The sculptural form and foliage are what make Kalanchoe orgyalis a standout in succulent collections or minimalist plant arrangements.
Its upright, open growth habit makes it suitable as a soft vertical accent in both container gardens and landscape designs. The muted coloring blends well with green, gray, or purple-toned succulents and pairs nicely with harder, more geometric textures. It is best used where its sculptural shape and unusual leaf surface can be appreciated up close, especially in bright indoor spots or sheltered outdoor patios.

Prefers bright indirect light to full sun. Morning sun enhances leaf color, while intense afternoon sun may cause leaf edge burn in hot climates.
Water when the top 2 inches of soil are dry. Be cautious not to overwater—this species is sensitive to soggy roots.
Tolerates dry indoor air well. Does not require added humidity.
Grows best between 65–85°F. Should be protected from temperatures below 40°F.
Use a fast-draining cactus or succulent mix, ideally with sand or perlite added for drainage.
Feed once a month during the growing season with a balanced, diluted fertilizer. No need to fertilize during fall or winter.
Toxic to pets if ingested. Keep out of reach of cats and dogs.

Very thin & no support
Size: Queen (U.S. Standard)
I was thinking these pillows were going to be kind of firm with the way they are described and the picture but they are very thin and when I laid down on it, it was like whatever is in the pillow just instantly moved to each side of my head. Definitely not for me and my neck issues.

Back sleeper here
Size: Standard
So since they were listed as down alternative, I was interested to see if they had that artificially puffy feel to them. They do get puffed up really well after a day. And the fabric is cool and comfortable. I do feel like these have good quality stuffing and the cover feels nice. I'm a back sleeper and it's just the right amount of bulk under my neck. I usually bunch the pillow up a little bit there so there's a little more pressure under my neck but with these it just felt good to lay on it without having to bunch it up in any special way. So I would definitely recommend them. So far I'm really liking having these pillows.

Nice and Fluffy
Size: Standard
These "down alternative" pillows have been a winner for me. Came two to a package and once they have a couple of days our of the vacuum packaging are nice and fluffy with no noticable odor. Just the right amount of "spring" to them for my taste. Also don't overheat my face/neck as traditional down pillows sometimes have.
