Grown from seed here at the nursery, these Chinese Quince are 8-10 years old. There was a partial flat of these quinces that got set on the ground one year and rooted in. They grew for a few years to 6-8 feet tall and we cut them back and tossed them in these plastic Bonsai shaped pots. We’ve worked on them since, wiring them every year for the past several year and sealing all wounds (which are healing over nicely as Chinese quince take a long while to callous over). Shohin size or slightly larger, these are good starts and hard to find on the market here in America. These take a while to ramify and set up, so those who know Chinese quince will appreciate these despite the flaws.
Sizing-please see all pictures as the later ones will show height and trunk size.
Shipping-US only. 2-3 day priority mail. During warmer months we only ship mondays-wednesdays.
Arrival- once the tree arrives, carefully unpack and water. Keep out of full sun for a few weeks to acclimate to your climate. Please keep in mind that a few twigs or branches may break during shipping. We pack very well but these are delicate things, and small things can happen.
