🌱 Growing instructions
- Sowing: For best results, start seeds indoors at any time.
- Scarification (Required): The extremely hard seed coat must be broken. Carefully file or nick one spot on the side of the seed until you see the cream-colored interior. Do not damage the pointed tip.
- Soaking: After scarifying, soak seeds in warm water (75-85°F), changing the water daily. Seeds will swell and sprout in about a week.
- Planting: Once sprouted, gently place the seedling in a pot with heavy loam or clay soil, leaving the sprout tip exposed. Submerge the pot in water, keeping the water level a few inches above the soil.
- Light Requirement: Full Sun.

Excellent dog balls — safe design and very durable

These fetch balls from Amazon Basics are fantastic, and my dog absolutely loves them. One of the biggest reasons I prefer these over other brands is the hole that runs through the center of the ball. This is a very important safety feature: if a dog were to accidentally get the ball stuck in the back of the throat, the hole allows air to pass through. That small detail could literally make a life-saving difference.
Aside from the safety benefit, they bounce well, are easy to clean, and hold up to a lot of playtime. They’re firm but not rock-hard, and my dog goes crazy for them. Great value, great quality, and a thoughtful design.
Highly recommended for dog owners who want a safer alternative to standard solid rubber balls.
